  1. Maybe there is a few hundred kilos of drugs stashed in hidden compartments. The dont really care about the boat...just a way to get it into the country.
  2. Hmmm...Took out my code book....if you look at the highlighted/bolded letters in his response you get.... motorissucky...or motor is sucky. Hmmm...be careful!!! Ok...can you tell I'm bored??
  3. I bought this one....it's a Nautilus Deep Cycle http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/product_...D=1191288358707 Also bought a Nautilus dual charger as well. I use it for a 30 pound thrust trolling motor....used it for 5 hours one time on settings varying from 3 to 5 (5 is the max) and still had 50% charge left at the end of the day.
  4. Wow!!! Great boat and awesome deal! Hope it all works out for you!
  5. My deepest condolences to you and your family and to all who called him friend. What you wrote was a great testament to his life....he seemed like a great man. Take care, Cliff and Carole
  6. Nice report and pics! Great work for the first time on the lake this year. Too bad the batteries died on you...would have like to have seen more fish pics!
  7. Great job! Real nice summary of a year's fishing!
  8. Well, I dont have a lot to go by for either species, but I'd have to say the salmon take longer runs, but the muskie have a more "ferocious" attack on the lure and seem to have more aggressive fight overall. For excitement, I'd have to give the edge to muskie.
  9. Wow...what a fantastic boat! Carefully designed from years of experience out there. I'm just trying to get my hands on a 14 foot tinny with a 20hp motor on it...maybe one day I can aspire to have a boat like this...wow...that's all I can say!
  10. Sweet Pike!!! Good idea tricking people into believing those GPS coordinates too....haha.
  11. Those are some HOGS!!!! Great job!
  12. Oh well, guess I'll try to get one thru the ice this winter...and try to get it out of the way first!! Thanks everyone for your input....I never get up to Georgian Bay.... Although, I did get a tip of place close by.....
  13. So what you're telling me is that Lake Simcoe is the only place to get them?? LOL. Oh well...maybe next year! Does this mean I have to go icefishing??? ACK!!!
  14. So, this wasn't an original goal for me this year, but with the surprise Muskie I got on the weekend, I was looking at the OFAH awards accepted species and I figured I have a shot at getting a qualifying fish in all the categories. The 10 are.... Smallmouth Bass Largemouth Bass Northern Pike Muskie Walleye Trout Salmon Panfish Carp Whitefish The only ones I do not have are Walleye (which I'm hoping to get this fall) and Whitefish. My question is....where do you get Whitefish? I've heard of them from Lake Simcoe, but is there anywhere else? How hard is it to get a 22" one? Thanks!
  15. Wow...great work Jen! Looks very tasty!!!
  16. Beauty muskie!!! Wow...cant even begin to imagine what it would be like to land a fish like that. Congrats!
  17. Unbelievable report and pics! Those fog shots and scenery were breathtaking. The fish pics just made my jaw drop onto my keyboard. Fantastic all around bunk!!! Heading off to read part 2 now.....
  18. LOL...excuses excuses...I landed a nice one in your old canoe...mind you....in huge 4 inch waves and we had a net....haha. Talk to you later Jason! Cliff
  19. Thanks....in talking with the owner of the marina...water levels are down 2 feet from normal....which in that lake is HUGE!!
  20. Nice job there guys! What..no pics of Jason's catch?? haha. Gotta love it when the fishing is on....see you out there I'm sure!
  21. Thanks everyone! Had a great day out on this lake for the first time ever! I can see how addicting these fish can be...they sure are thrilling to see in action. Crazyhook....I knew it was 15 pounds because as I brought it out of the water, I weighed it while it was still in the net....taking into account the weight of the net of course.
  22. Wow...those are great smallies! Sounded like they had some good fight in them too. The video was a nice touch. I've enjoyed all your bass reports this year....so much so that I actually went out to target them a few times with fellow OFNers.
  23. Great report and pics! At least you got into some nice fish there. Sounded like you had a great time...great fishing, great friends....that's what it's all about.
  24. Wow...that's a great video!!! I always think I should do that, but then when there's a fish on I always forget...LOL. Most of my fishing is at night, so video would kinda suck, but on those odd days I fish during the day, it's the furthest thing from my mind. Great job and great muskie!
  25. Wow...50 people? That's just insane. I'd just turn around and leave. If anyone got into one, I'm sure it would be a tangled mess as it swam through other's lines.
