Bly and I will be there Friday night....leaving right after we can drop the kids off at a friend's place on Friday afternoon. Will be leaving on Monday morning. Should be a blast!!! Here are some pics taken from the docks....an amazing place to be for sure!

Also keep in mind that if you see them, they see you. Try approaching the hole with a very low profile and giving it a try. Avoid wearing red and try to choose clothing colours that blend in with your surroundings.

As you said in one of my previous posts.... We have some lovely parting gifts for you.....LOL. At least you guys got out and caught something....I got to drive 6 hours to Michigan...spend one night and then drive 6 hours back!

Congrats on your first pike!!! I'm a bit jealous...you got to go fishing, I got to drive 6 hours to Michigan on Saturday to see the in-laws, and then 6 hours on Sunday to come home....LOL. Great report...hope to see more in the near future!

Way to go MJL! The scenery there is almost as nice as my home carp waters....LOL. You had to work for your fish, but I'd take 13 fish anyday!

Be sure to install it in the proper location. For instance, I see a lot of them on the corner of a deck...that's the wrong place. The idea is to place it away from where you will be sitting....so if you are worried about a deck, then place it away from it or else you are just attracting them where you will be hanging around. Others will place them so that the direct path to the zapper takes them across the deck as well. Anyhow, you probably get the picture.

Stinger is a lower level brand, but still does the job. Just make sure that the replacement parts are available in your area before you purchase!

I had them for the canoe and they worked great! Used them a few times while night fishing. They are inexpensive and easy to attach and remove. Bought mine at Canadian Tire....cant remember exactly how much they were though.

Yep....Tbayboy got a nice one with my HUGE catch...but believe it or not, it wasn't my smallest. My season opener for 2007 was a good one, with me landing this monster perch. My 5 year old and I had a competition on catching fish....I lost big time.

I had nothing to do with it....honest!
