  1. Mid 30's + tax Cdn. "Nippissing" and his brothers at Geisler Marine in Powassan have/had one for sale. I believe the higher price in Canada includes Bob Izumies(sp) commission....
  2. I'd highly suggest that you'd better be fishing >IN< the lake......
  3. Have a GREAT day Carole !
  4. Congrats Joe...now keep that garage door locked or Tonyb's gonna have a 19' Pro-V parked in there! But then again...if he lets you use it.........
  5. If he had of tagged one of those Mute Swans it would have been a different deal. Now there's something that you'd better know how to handle...and if you get into a Trumpeter swan (black beak)...don't be postin any pictures since they're a protected bird. Just ask the dork that repeatedly circled, swamped and broke one's wing this fall with his boat wake on Simcoe. He's probably had to get a 2nd mortgage on his house to pay the vet bills for that honey..... that's being rehabilitated at the Wye M a rsh.
  6. Isn't that why they make us carry useless paddles in our boats? So you have something on board to beat the useless bugger to death with, so you can get your $10 Rapala back....
  7. Once wasn't enough eh Dustin !! Now you know why I went back year after year after year.... Good luck Shnaggs...take lots of pictures and stay keen for bears.
  8. I've only used Power Pro on my bait casters.... for about the last 4 years. I've had no good reason presented to me to switch to something else.... I still use Trilene on my spinning reels.
  9. Sticks and stones! LOL Sorry Joe...couldn't resist! I know them goats mean the world to you just like any of our favourite pets and a happy birthday to the gelding!
  10. Gives you a better target for kickin dear! Thanks for the nice report. Good to see you two out for a weekend away from home...and fishin none the less as well.
  11. then what Roy...then what....
  12. $300 fine for not producing a vessel licence to the nice guy in the blue suit! We just did a thread on this less than 4 days ago. Services Canada is in charge of vessel licencing now. You can no longer do it at Canada Customs/Border Services. http://www.ofncommunity.com/forums/index.p...services+canada ............................ Was Canada Customs service for free..then I heard it was changing over so you could go to any Social Security/Services Canada or something like that...but note that Temagami Marine no longer goes to North Bay and do them...they fax them into Services Canada Pleasure Craft Licence Ctr. Fredericton, NB E3B 5G4 Fax number 506-462-5322 required.. Front of existing licence Back of licence signed over to new owner and new owner has completed appropriate section Complete an "Application for Pleasure Craft Licence". Complete third party authorization letter... if you are doing it for someone else Photocopy of both sides of your drivers licence Bill of sale ................................. http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/en/sc/boats/pleasurecraft.shtml ://http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/en/s...urecraft.shtml .............................
  13. Nothing like a good alum project. What are you putting back in...to replace the compression strength of that middle seat that you removed?
  14. Behave Roy.............. As for three years pay...well I have no paycheck and haven't for a few years.... so I'm not sure on that and that would be HAD some money....since it's already paid for
  15. Thanks Paul ! ...and that ain't a unicycle! LOL...got two wheels bud!
  16. I had a little Johnson too Brian....and went with the enhancement program to a BIG merc ! LOL Had a 4 hp merc as a kid, on our wood lory that my brother built in around 68 or so. I started it and drove it easily at 6 years old. It received no maintenance that I'm aware of and the thing is probably still running like a top where ever it went. The 9.8 merc I found in the corner of the boat house, in 2004, looked like it had been thru WW II. Filled the bottom end with oil, put some gas in the tank and 2 pulls she ran like a top...had to order a tilt pin for it and by serial number I believe it's a '76 model. Based on everyone's Merc experience here on OFC and my past knowledge...I've gone back to Merc big this year. 275 Verado and 9.9 Pro kicker.
  17. Betcha he caught it, like all of you, on a "hook..line and sinker".....

LOL Have a great day Monique...at 40 you're just entering your prime...unlike that lug you're married to.... but then again he still thinks he's 18 so you may very well be fine! LOL
  24. I imagine you mean Lakeland Airways and that Darren is flying you in in the Beaver from their town dock in Temagami? Can anyone here help him out??? I sent him over here from the Temagami ottertooth forum. Wayne
  25. The only time I see canoers on the lake, sailing, is directly downwind to save the paddle on the 14 mile long NE Arm. Usually two or three canoes together with the guys/gals in the bow holding up a tarp to pull them down the lake. Haven't seen anything for tacking up wind...but it might be out there. Don't see a canoe doing it with out flipping over though.
