We didn't need to be beat...we just needed the knowledge that the principal had the school board issued leather strap (or his private Beaver Tail) in his desk drawer and that our parents would do one better when we got home. I gave it thought when I saw sunshine for Saturday and snow ending Friday..figured I could trailer down mine, but they changed the weather and I'm not overly keen on covering it with road salt just yet.

I'd get at it Maureen... I just spent 3 hours in our laneway with the truck/plow (usually takes me 45 minutes). It's a bugger to move..the freezing rain last night complicates things as everything under that layer is soaking wet.

HAHA Brian ! I hear yah Nauti... we get tickets for everything and they do what they want. It's like my Dad always said " do as I say... not as I do". I followed an OPP around town for awhile the other day when I was coming back from CTC in Midland, was gonna flag him down and citizen arrest him for failure to signal a couple of lane changes while he was doing 120 K on 93 between Midland and Penetang, then failure to signal about 15 turns, ..... failure to stop at a dozen stop signs thru Penetang (including 2 in front of a public school during school hours), but decided I didn't need the recourse and besides... I was right on his ass and I did exactly what he was doing to see if he would pull me over!

I'm just glad the whole load made it to there ! That's half way up our hill at the lake...made it all the way thru town from the grocery store, down the hill to the town wharf.....into the boat..out of the boat and up the hill to there. Just got a notion to take a picture when I was down to the most important item...my caffeine. Bought Leah 8 spare wheels at Princess auto for 99 cents each ! Even got her "mudder" tires and went up from 6 inch to 8 inch diameter! LOL

I call this one delivery truck down !

They are doing it on bunk trailers Emil. It can be done with rollers..but you'd better be dead slow..then you have to leave it in gear while you hook the winch strap to the bow...or it will roll back off.
