  8. So I went to bed last night around 1:45.. awoke out of my first deep sleep in weeks to an alarm clock going off at 4:55. First thought was who the hell set that...and then came to my senses and remembered it was me! LOL Got the sled loaded up and headed for Innisfil. Watched the sun come up while I waited for Terry to arrive. We got out in 80FOW for a few hours with Joey, Tybo, Reefhawg, Graftongal (and their nice lab) and Fishnsled, Percher and Biteme came along later on. Terry with auger problems... had to actually drill a couple by hand this morning! Reefhawg Sandy playin catch with the lab Dan (Percher) and Biteme show up and had moved three times. Dan drilling a hole the easy way. Biteme and Terry We left Adam and Sandy behind..... and moved out past Fox Island where many got into some Perch... including CCMTCanada getting his first "ice" fish. I think he's hooked now.. LOL. Joanne looking good... Bassmastermike, Tybo, Chuck in truck.. I think douG on tailgate and Bly. I believe this is Shooter and his wife. Fishnsled (Will) and CCMTCanada (Cliff) Cliff with his first monster thru the ice.. come'on Cliff stretch them arms!
  9. Gee... I wonder if I can get in on that one ? I always have to haul the boat up there... food.. tackle.. cottage maintenance. Would be so much easier to just be a drop in pest somewhere !
  10. I'd finish up and go out there in the summer... vs getting it all in the face at once in -40C weather !
  11. Get your tickets first and dictate your wage when you get there. If you were a fully ticketed welder I could have you a job tomorrow out there. Wife's cousin can't keep enough on staff...with accoms !
  12. Carphunter.. you said good bye but your lights still on ! Can't believe someone asking a simply question about what's gone on in the past makes a 50+ year old fold his hand ! You gonna join pe ta next? It's only words on a screen fella !
  13. Well Kelvin.. I've got the sled & cutter on the trailer... stole the battery out of our emergency lights for the fish finder. I'll be there... if I wake up. I've got one day, maybe two of freedom before the gals come home.
  14. Thanks guys ! Yes Mike... she'll be coming back home with us for the next few months so she can recover fully and not get caught back up in the "city" life too soon (she actually lives just south of Jarvis and Carlton). I've just gotta remember to pull my end of the work load once she's home.... or I'll have another important gal of mine hospitalized in no time.
  15. This threads still alive ????? Now if there ever was a fishing "athlete" it's Terry. You should have seen what it took this guy to get 7 miles down the the lake on his ATV. Hell we didn't even know there was Sheepshead in Lake Temagami... but he hunted one down... and hunting is a sport..... right?!!>??
  16. I'll be there with mine... Go BIG... or go home !
  17. Thanks for all the comments folks. If you ever get a chance..get a group together and set out to do the same thing we've been doing the last 2 years. Fish are a bonus and the laughs are for real !
  18. Cripes John... take Jesse with you! She could catch one casting from shore this time of year! LOL
  19. Dang double glass windows kept me from taking any pictures from the Bond Hotel window... had a perfect view of the moon though... both inside and outside the hotel window!
  20. So Sorry for your loss Rich! I thought I was having a bad week... yours is worse as I've felt that pain as well to know so.
  21. Thanks Folks and Joey I was and have pretty much kept this to myself for the 6 or 7 years since she was properly diagnosed and taking over $450 worth of drugs a month to control it. I let a few specs of info out on my Temagami report and my good morning thread at 4am Wednesday when I headed for the city. The one thing I'd like to pass along to every parent here.... DO NOT put up with Bull from your family Dr and Specialists. If you're not getting anywhere walk your kids right into Emerg at Sick Kids... they can't refuse you. You do not need a specialists recomendation to go there... as we were lead to believe. Took from the age of 11 to 16 listening to Drs saying she was a bilemic (sp) or iron deficient instead of finding the real reason that she could barely maintain 100 lbs. Finally getting her into Sick Kids before she was too old and getting kicked into the "general population" was the ticket that saved her and had her in a controlled state for the last 6 or 7 years buying as much time as they could before needing surgery. Her intestine was pretty much closed off and surgery was the only avenue to keep her alive at this point.
