If you are concerned about declining populations... stop fishing for the things during their spawning run! I did so 23 years ago. And on the subject of declining numbers... I know at least one river "lift" that has triple the numbers of last year.

I see the current lot of pigs, from the same careless ancestors, are still fishing it I see. Garbage lined the streams back in '85 too (but of course I suspect you may have been in diapers or just a glint in your papas eye back then). That was about the last time I chased a fish species during their spawn. Funny how everything else is protected during same...

Your dealer does not have to order the boat "packaged". They can still buy Lunds engineless and install what they want on them. I would suggest that the appearance of no choice but a Merc does give the dealer an excuse to drop the line if they so chose. In my mind... the main reason to drop Lund would be the quality control of their "packaging" last year. It wasn't pretty and my boat isn't referred to as "The boat from Hell" by all Temagami Marine staff for nothing.

You're not supposed to be using the trailer ball as a ground connection Paul.... Just wish someone would tell Shorelandr that. They failed to put a ground strap to the frame on my new trailers wiring. Guess when they switched to LED lights, which work just great, they didn't think to still ground the frame itself..... backing up electric brake dump valve just don't work without a negative wire !
