  1. Don't wanna stir anything Cudz... but look at the quote you quoted in your post... It even says 3 there ! and that won't change if someone edits their post after the fact.
  2. I'm ticked with myself. Ordered spare blades for my hand auger and an extension for the power auger from wholesale sports out west and they have a head cover for $25. My order is already shipped so... I'll see what I can find around here first.
  3. Yah Sure.. now you tell me Sinker ! LOL... I had it in my 2 man hut and Ron said to me... the auger is the first thing you want out.. so mount it to your sled ! LOL I've got some covers around here for other stuff. Hopefully one will fit it!
  4. I was going to mount it on the nose of the sled first... handles up and down instead of sideways as mine has the filler pointing the way it does. Many point up when on their side. Decided it was too much work to make a mount up there.. make it swing out of the way etc so you could open the hood on the sled and put it back there. I can still open my "glove" box below the brake light and I think it's high enough to clear the snow when in deep. I have the tank full and the vent screw closed. No leakage. I did have some gear box oil leaking though.. and snugged all the gear case bolts. This picture before paint shows the structure better. The 2 x 4 under the handles is carved out to fit the slope of the handle bars.
  5. Great stuff Terry. So the sled is working well and good to go? Mine's a '98 Grand Touring 500... only has 600 miles on it.
  6. I was ripping 3 to 4 foot lifts with my 6 " last year when I got that 37" laker.
  7. Thanks for looking after him Today Hun !!! Did he break anything?? lol
  8. Maybe it's not the fish....
  9. That's a Monster Tube Lloyd... 10" + trailer. 6" work GREAT... 10" should be even better.
  10. Saw TroutMuskieHunters post the other day about his ATV auger mount and that reminded me I still had some work to do... so I could carry my "arm saver". Threw this one together from scrap wood, an old 1/2 quart can of Tremclad.. some bungees and some eye hooks. The tail light on sled is still visible.. but I added clearance lights just in case someone runs up close in the dark. They were sitting on the bench behind me.. so why not!
  11. Hey John !!! PISS OFF ! lol Carlos and Charlies still there????? If so ... make sure you leave lots of tip or you'll get beat over the head with a baton before you can make the cab door !
  12. Nothing to be sorry for linweir... you stated right in your post 3 of us iced 7 lakers.. released the 6 lbr and I guess one other. Great stuff.... good to get out. I'd planned on it today.. but MPAC appeals took my day.
  13. LOL Terry.. don't worry, I can even find the holes! lol We don't need to go way around to there... but we may be goin by it anyways to a speck lake. Great stuff Mike... good to see the pickeral active. Too bad from that depth though, as that's where the slot size restrictions get really questionable. We always fish them shallow... but always come up empty toooooo lol
  14. I'm still laughing Simon... sounds like it's probably a common saying... well down on Chuch Street in Toronto anyhow! LMAO
  15. "HEY TERRY... I've got another one" !! lol
  16. I think they work anywhere...
  17. Only one spot on the lake with that background... lol Good stuff.. hope the laker released well !
  18. Funny that don't show it on their website... this is their new one.
  19. Ginny's a real trooper for going along with "take a wife to work day" ! lol Good stuff Ryan... can't beat "work" like that ....
  20. Great stuff Mike ! Enjoy it the way it is for awhile... drag it .. pull it and throw it in the water. If you paint it you'll be worried that you will scratch it until you get a better means of moving it. Alum is not something you wanna hit with Tremclad. It needs to be properly chemically stripped.. possibly etched depending on the primer.... epoxy primed and then painted if you expect it to stick. Not cheap and not something you'll probably wanna tackle for a bit.
  21. And they all disappeared before 11am in the Midland store.
  22. They get smarter and smarter trying to hide from yuz hunters TJ! lol
  23. If he had of posted that quick blurb on Spoonpullers it would have been understood..... considering it's been discussed there for months. But to join here just to post with no real info
  24. You are getting old... aren't ya! Mind you that -29C.. having to put your ATV in Ron's trailer to preheat, etc, last year wasn't much fun either....
