  1. I ask because the old Rochester 4 barrels with vacuums use to bog under some loads... due to vacuum issues. Thinking maybe your boat under certain loads = incorrect manifold pressure to pull the secondary in.. or a vacuum hose leak. That said...most 2 barrels don't have secondaries... Partially clogged jet...
  2. 2 barrel.. 4 barrel.. vacuum or mechanical secondaries?
  3. Never know if you don't hit it and fish it..
  4. Worm.. how many years has this realtor been in business. You never put sold on a listing until closing.... I've been down the road before.. dreams are dreams but sometimes you've gotta say WHOA !.. and take your money back for false advertising if there appears to be issues on title search.
  5. 1/2 of Ontario is open all year. First time I've seen someone jump on an "OOS" Pike picture here. ... it's usually a bass... that's open all year in only a 1/3rd of Ontario.
  6. Kevin.. if you don't find the right thread... stick the hose onto an airmattress end (long tapered plastic nozzle) for one of hose portable air pumps. Stick it in the threaded hole and hold it tight while you pump the oil in. Works like a charm.. is what I do on my 9.9 merc as my threaded fittings only fit the Verado and my 25 Honda.
  7. Have the lawyer hold the realter accountable for the listing. .. "year round home"!
  8. Don't forget a gold buckshot spoon.. or the smaller forage minnow ..
  9. Seasonal Residential.. doesn't specify what season, or at least it didn't when I lived in one on Farlain Lake here in Penetang. We left in the summer...
  10. Things that make you go hmmmmm.. http://www.northumberlandtoday.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=2517147 You do realize that if you get even 2% of the vote that you get your money back!!?
  11. Well Ron.. if anyone wants to get into the resort market.. give it 2 years with the RLTA'a attitude, and the dollar at par, and you will be able to buy cheap ........and make a good go at it with a bit of insulation and a desire to work, instead of heading to Florida for the winter.
  12. I still have 2 pairs of the CTC's in the boat. They're good for about 10 cuts on 6/0's and 7/0's and then they're toast.
  13. Some will look at you strange doing it.. but you can "grunt" them to the surface as well. Google it... Or the old electro trick..
  14. Lloyd's been around Terry toooo much...
  15. What ever happened to just being responsible for your own stupidity??? Nobody to blame but the driver...... Unfortunate.. but the "sue all" mentality is alive and well in Canada now as well...
  16. NAAAA.. I just drove by after the lawyers this morning. You can see right in the store while sitting at the lights! NO Dave !!
  17. Don't see Dave in the Midland store....
  18. If it's in the boat.. no station licence required. If you want to stand on the dock and use it.. station licence required.
  19. Someone's hat size went up today...
  20. Albert.. click your profile at top right.. click settings. Check that you have "notify by email" and "notifiy on board" checked.
  21. I hear yah Lew.. but at least we (Canadian Owners and Pilots Association) faught hard a decade+ ago and got rid of the base station requirement. Was a PITA with airplanes at ownership transfer and we faught and faught Industry Canada and won and it was also applied to boats. Why they left the requirement on portables I'll never know.. The operators cert I understand and not a flight goes by that I don't hear someone that shouldn't be allowed on a radio.
  22. ..and just to clarify Lew.. you need the "radio operators certificate" for YOU.. not the radio. Station licences were abolished for boats and airplanes in 1999. If your VHF radio is not in the boat.. ie a handheld, or you are using a fixed base station in the house/marina etc.. you still need a base station licence for the radio.
  23. There are over 6000 "members". A members only section won't change anything. The same ones complaining now would still be doing so there ..
  24. Did you have it stored on it's side.. or fully tipped up. Sounds like it's hydraulic'd to me..
  25. Wait 'till Rick comes home and sees that !! lol
