  1. $250 a pound eh bud !! Got this weekend off too??? I'm leaving at 9am !
  2. Track running against the plastic sliders Bill... overheats if it doesn't get some snow in on them. Drive thru any snow you can or get some scratchers.. or make some. The bolt thru the ski tail worked well for me last year.. until I lost them somewhere.. Something to be said for the old full boggie wheel track of yesteryear..
  3. The news story casts a little different light at least... if you want to jump to some quick conclusions. The Grew connection is interesting for me.. considering we now own/operate our plastics business from the old Penetang Grew building.
  4. Best deal I could get was from Jos in Woodstock. Slowpoke kindly made the deal for me and picked them up on his way to BOQ one year. Canon Mag10hs's at a better price than anyone else would touch.
  5. You be really pissed when you have one on that's tight in a TEN !
  6. Lice is what I always hear it being called... but I just googled fresh water lice and that's not what it looks like. These white little things are on many of the Lake Temagami lakers that have any size to them.
  7. Just an FYI for those that don't know... the Verado engine is supposed to have a dedicated battery.. accessories are not to be on it other than maybe your bilge pumps.. so the kicker should have it's own battery and be the power source for your riggers/electronics etc. Both batteries get charged thru an isolator when running on the Verado so that they stay topped up and it's a time game when running the kicker if you have or use the power steering when running the kicker. I have mine disconnected as the hydraulic steering sucks more power than the kicker alternator puts out at trolling speed. AGM batteries are also highly suggested...and must/should be a matched pair. When I originally custom ordered my Lund I wanted an 1/2/both isolate switch and dual batteries, as what I always did with our cruisers on GBay. Not allowed with a Verado.
  8. Are you sure.. their tails look pretty square!! lol
  9. glens' BEST catch ever ! I netted it and didn't let it get away!

  12. LOL Dan.. at least I switched to diet to get rid of the sugar (and dropped 28 lbs).. but no way I can go to Pepsi Free and not get the caffine !!
  13. I'm sure that she is looking down and happy to see you out there fishing as a family again.
  14. Civil upheaval isn't too many years away Paul. Start stocking the ammo..
  15. gas... Pepsi now $2.59 per 2 litre bottle. Guess it's no name pop from here out, for my 3 bottle a day habit....
  16. Insurance is mandatory for a tourney angler NO? $50k Triton and no hull insurance....
  17. I was gonna say...I bet it wasn't that difficult to get Albert to stand beside Maureen all day.
  18. So did mine... not the targeted species, but wadda ya do when they're in 68 feet of whitie water? Why I think the slot should go in the winter time....
