  1. Sorry I asked you to confirm the # I have in my phone bud! I just might get into the air next week....
  2. Don's a tough bird... he'll be just fine with time.
  3. Yes Mike.. I've seen some of the rental camps stating it as a requirement to rent their boats. I don't understand that tact as it doesn't change the fact that they rented the customer a boat and they're only cutting their own throats by scaring off new customers.
  4. I don't think so.. still a legal means according to Transport Canada for proof of competency. http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/marinesafety/debs-obs-paperwork-paperwork_operatorfaq-2233.htm#g
  5. You DO NOT need a card if there is a rental agreement and check list.
  6. Jesus Gord... and here I had hope for you as the last guy with a rotary dial phone........
  7. It's alright Joey... we all know what year it was in the picture by the size of Randy's stomach !!
  8. Thanks for the teasers TJ... you found a great way to live life to the highest, cheaply ! Hope to drop in at some point... Confirm you cell # still ends with 17 ?
  9. We'll we test drove the wheel chair today. About 2pm Jen wanted McDonald's, seems to be a strange thing with chemo patients that generally never eat there but then suddenly get a craving. I told her I wouldn't go get it for her.... she had to come along. So I pushed her to the diagonally opposite corner of the full city block to Dupont and Dufferin and back home. So I did a good part of what the walk would have been in Barrie... oh and the LCBO happened to get hit on the way back to!! (that pocket is handy on the back Geoff!!)
  10. From the East.. brings out the BEAST !
  11. You can go to Cookstown to jump as well Burt. Joe Chow's business.. Skydive Toronto. You won't find anyone in the business with more experience than Joe and his wife Claire. http://www.skydivetoronto.com
  12. Jump out of a perfectly good airplane, while the engine is still attached???? Glad you had a good day !!
  13. I'm sure Brunswick probably owns both companies Terry !!
  14. Lund doesn't make them.. they are either Atwoods or Springfields. I have both in my boat. The rear seats are Atwoods. Front captains the other.
  15. Me to Spiel ! Some wonderful fishies there Ben!
  16. Thanks Dan ! Still waiting for some of those promised donators to jump in. She's got a "pitch" walker for Sunday in Barrie. A week Sunday she will be with her team for the Toronto walk/wheel and thanks to GBW we have a nice push style wheel chair for her gf's to take turns wheeling her thru the park if she gets too tired. I suspect she'll use the chair as a walker for the most part... or possibly leave it behind all together, we'll have to wait and see.
  17. Two more sleeps 'till "graduation" day ! All 10 chemo's (5 x 2 day treatments and 5 x 6 day treatments) will be done, on schedule come Saturday am !! Can't wait to see the last MRI on Monday to see what, if any, soft tisue tumour remains from the outgrowth of this bone cancer. Should be totally gone based on previous progression.
  18. LOL Terry... but I also ended up with 2 lift jackets and three $750 leather jackets!!
  19. Looks like a real nice Thank You for supporting local there Paul !!!
  20. Thanks Kelvin!! Cheque arrived safe and sound. Great to see another promise come true.
  21. Bag of cash and that's not even a guarantee it's good but as close as it gets.. and the general method I use. Leah's always said if I ever go down after an airplane deal they'll think they've found a crashed drug dealer!! As for people that think bank drawn certified cheques are always good... I can show you 82,000 reasons why they're not by finding the cheque that Bendix Corporation of the USA wrote us in the 90's to get their moulds out of our plant, when Bendix Collingwood's seat belt factory shut down. Billm has the smartest idea.. but requires doing business on a week day.
  22. Sorry Harry.. but I got screwed for numerous $2.25 pops today, $20 to park TWICE today and I won't mention all the other expenses that happen each day down here. I'd pay $10 right now for a single hook and worm if I could get out to use them!
  23. I believe they open at the rear of the building at 5am to do so Gord.. call and check!
