  1. Thanks guys! G.. I'm sure you and old Spiel even tipped a beer in my honour! LOL !
  2. Klaxton it actually at trade name for a digital horn Paul.. but I'll let you have it!
  3. Well.. the last two weeks.. 50 million flies on every south facing wall here. Mosquitos already out and nawed by a black fly while cutting cement board on the front deck yesterday. It doesn't look good!
  4. Always something stupid Lew... glad you got it figured out. Mine was too much plastic.. not enough throw... in the switch and after some trimming of the rocker it worked fine. MMike.. what's complicated.. one quick harness for speedy boat assembly. Keeps the costs down, that many of us whine about.
  5. It's worth more than the $250 we're at as well.... I don't imagine I'll be the owner, but if I am you may still get another chance Dan! I hear a near North Getaway is up for auction as well...
  6. Well 3 didn't take me seriously.. cost them 20% mark up on a 80K + tax boat!
  7. Everyone has their favourite dealer for various reasons. Clarence, Bay City, couldn't even be bothered to quote my boat, nor could DT power sports or Gordon Marine. Bad business sense as far as I'm concerned... someone that wants a custom order.. paid in full.. and not a boat sitting in the showroom on 3rd party financing praying for a buyer. Makes me
  8. Sh it sorry smally Vessel licence signed over... the rest is copasetic. Look it up if you don't know what that word means. Stop telling guys they can go to Service Ontario / Canada... Boat licencing has been an "only to New Brunswick" for some time now.
  9. As long as the paperwork lines up.. you've got the registration signed over.. a bill of sale from the signed over to the guy you're buying from and then the bill of sale from same to you you're good to go. (other than you have no proof of it being lien free) The double sign over is the oldest trick in the book.. seller is avoiding the PST collection on value by not registering it in his name. Unlike the trailer that has a 14 day mandatory notification law that he could be fined / charged under.. the boat registration does not.
  10. Congrats to you and the Mrs Rob!! You've got the "millionaire's family" now.. so get out there and buy a loto ticket!! LOL Enjoy... nothing wrong with declaring the "factory closed", but I hope the punch press keeps running!
  11. The link given by Grimice in about the third post was a brand new Alaskan at Hastings Marine!
  12. Thanks for all the Birthday Wishes.. great to bring some silent folks out of the wood work and to know fellas like FHR are still amongst us. Like my shirt, bought tonight at Rama, says.. "I'm not dead yet"! 50's not a big deal.. this beat up old body feels like it's 85 anyhow!!
  13. All the pedestals in my Lund are air rides. Springfields in the front, on the captain seats, and dang can't think of the name on the back ones. I'd never last a full day hammering 3 footers without them.
  14. April 6th, 2009 !! I know it's gonna happen again, as Leah's flowers have all bloomed and they're sure to get killed yet....
  15. Sounds like you're not interested in Temagami now anyhow, but if you are I may have another spot pending how many are in the party and what sleeping arrangements would be. Sure it can be a tough nut to crack for pickeral.. but bass are under every piece of wood or rock.
  16. The place I had in mind for you.. unavailable for those dates.
  17. Yep.. I melt a ball as well.. stops the fraying plus gives that added no-slip bonus
  18. Palomar knot. I use to do the trilene thing and found out that it slips on braid.. and then the fishy is GONE!
  19. I almost bought a place on Herridge, to rent out .... and found out the main lake is pretty fishless. Papa Joe's takes you to the back lakes to fish. That said... maybe it's only "fictitiously" fishless.
  20. Mind being water access?? (only 3/4 mile from town) If you don't.. I may be able to set something up for you on Lake Temagami.. 3 bedroom cottage, boat rental from the guy that looks after the cottage (fully insured and legal boats) and a possible guide for the grouse hunt, if Jim's still in town by then. Hopefully I'll still be there at that time of year and could do a couple Laker charters for you as well.
  21. Same GREAT boat, built smarter. We're CNC routering all the skins and seat frames.
  22. Wormdunker.. spent a long time yaking with Andre and we've decided it's best to let our dealers do their thing and to not start undercutting them by selling directly. That said.. Temagami Marine is a dealer and if you mention my name the pencil might get sharpened a bit there, but I bet the same thing can happen through Geisler Marine in Powassan as well. Which ever Naden dealer is the closest to the purchaser just makes it easiest for the buyer. I'll send you a PM and I'm waiting for a list of current dealers that are on board with the new Naden Boat.
