there should be a place in town i think. But I always threw spinnrs in for the pike and perch or even small jigs below the dam.It was always open water, mind you I havent been there in a few years.
You can thank the gent that donated it,Its was written on the top of the box.Not me but a good old friend of mine.Enjoy it, I was thinking of buying one just like it.Im glad you like it.
I wont know until tomorrow,But it sure leaves an aroma in the house. well see what the wife says when she gets home from work tonight:stretcher: To save my butt Ill tell her it tastes like the pickerel I brought home the last time
PM me HTHM,If you decide to pull the piston head and repalce the rings etc etc etc.Ive got the tools that you will need to do the job. Also there is a good engine guy intown that I use to have the head done at a really good price.Probably even get you a discount for gaskets too.let me know.
Thanks,I was a little concerned about the bones.I heard they were boney.I may also cut them up into steaks and add some dill and lemons yet.Or even just some lemon pepper and salt .Im more of pickerel and trout guy for eats.Maybe I can dice it up and cook it slowly in a cream of brocoli or cauliflour soup,as I did once for pickerel while camping.
It was an awesome turn out for sure ,met a lot a new people out there today.Too many people to list,It was great to finally meet you guys. You too T J even though you forgot the hat ,Ill just wear the OFC mug on my melon in the mean time
Save your self the extra drive,Bills bait in hamilton supplies their minnows, they will have more and open at the same time.Tell Tim or Greg,Vinny sent you.
For me was a toss up.Turtles and frogs nestled in the sediment. How fish reacted to different baits esp ice fishing. But the one one that really got me was the bass in the winter. They really know how to take a minnow or taste a jig without moving the rod tip.Oh and I cant forget about the bass that took a liking to the (perch)camera. He must of been lonely. Lets hear yours.
For all that needs to drive out,its a short walking distance to 80-90fow.Be careful and have fun as I will.Id rather walk out knowing I can drive back Home.To all good luck fishing and if anyone wants to give me any pointers icing for whities feel free to do so, Ive only been out once before.I will be the one with an aquaview.Good Luck to all and for god sake be safe out there.Cheers
