  1. Shimano 401a cardiff, had it for a couple years, no issues on my part. Its a good reel for a little more than $100.
  2. Well i guess we will have to do our part, as ussual.Liability is a factor, and the premiums are high. Most of us have cells with cameras, that will do for now.But I would like to be involved in a program as such, in my spare time.thanks V
  3. heard about it,wasnt sure. thanks
  4. petro can park is just north of rebecca st,there is an old wooden sign and a laneway beside a house.Parking down below, and a trail along the creek past the soccer field. Bring boots, can get a little muddy. The old tree hole upstream is a good spot to relax and watch the salmon.cheers
  5. I would like to become a p/t volunteer co. Does the mnr take care of this program, or is it outside group on behalf of the mnr.
  6. Ive seen cos working weekends plenty of times. Once a few years back the mnr made a mistake, open day for trout on the saugeen. He had his ticket book out and we had our regulations book out, to backing us up on the friday, he couldnt do anything. But in good jesture before he left,we let the fish go.He smilled and left us alone, the next day he waved and treated us as a friend.Keep up the good work cos, some of use fisherman are here to help if needed.cheers and good fishing. V
  7. Ive been trolling bronte for the past month or so, small schools have been moving in. Need a good cold rain.Better make an effort to goto georgian, non stop action on saturday.Cant tell you where, its a secret.I find bronte better in late fall for bows, above the 403, lots of nice holes. Careful of the embankments at upper middle rd, was worth the slide done though.good luck at bronte, better fishing off of the north pier, cast towards the newer marina entrance, hint.cheers, and good fishing.vinnimon
  8. Re: crooks hollow Itake the kids there whenever possible,as my father did for me. Good fishing, great for the kids, lots of cats and bass. Stopped by there in august, noticed that they replaced the walkover bridge, new warning signs. Afew extra dollars we can have the dam fixed. Our tax dollars will most likely pay for it, so why not fix it.The dam needs work ofcoarse and lower part could be made more people friendly. This is a wonderful stop for a day of fishing and a picnic with the kids. Keep our enviroment healthy and clean, fish on! cheers vinnimon
