the little black spots are a parasite that is simple called black spot.. and those large black shaded areas are a disease known as lymphosarcoma its a cancer like disease that affects pike and musky

the funny part is most of it actually happens

try to use a thick florocarbon as a leader it is not as heaver and when used with a swivel the lures will lose little performance

I was just wondering if anyone that is up by orilla could tell me how thick the ice is and when you think that it will finally be safe to go out fishing.

pictures are to close back the camera up for a better picture so we can see the reel size but the fish are big and look healthy good catch
