Obtaining Roe...tough to do it properly...
solopaddler replied to Familyfisherman's topic in General Discussion
If a dozen bags last a week or more you're doing something wrong, even on the Notty. I realize I may not be the norm, but in season I use 150-200 bags per week on average. -
Can anyone direct me to functioning live stream for tonight's game? Thanks boys

I'd burn through that in an hour on average. Would get awfully expensive LOL! -

Impressive is an understatement, wow! -
Best part is you'll have a substantial asset to sell when it finally comes time to leave Yellowknife. Very smart move! On my end It'll be a nice place to visit.

Nice fish and beautiful spot. More importantly I can hardly recognize you! You really are losing a lot of weight aren't you? (It appears as though that jacket I mailed you a few years back fits perfect now )

Definitely above and beyond, hats off to you Skip.

Someone recently asked me if they could include me as one of their pro staff on that unfortunate website.

Very impressive, congrat's on a stellar day!

Outstanding! I find it pretty interesting for a tiny inland lake that the smallies were suspended in schools over deep water. Interesting pattern!

The Fishing was Intrigueing Enough for a Second Trip

So far I've had two encounters with polar bears. Last years made for a good story, but never really felt threatened. The first encounter by myself on the Winisk system was perhaps the closest I've come to death. Hopefully never again, although a return to the Sutton is a distinct possibility. -
Once again thanks guys, glad you enjoyed! I'd love it if you could join me!! As far as the leaders go they were flawless, thanks again! I've eaten pike plenty of times......when I couldn't catch walleye. LOL! The "Ricky/Julian" thing was an ongoing joke between us. You'll have to excuse me now, it's time to feed Steve French. You're the voice of reason Brad.

The black flies are no surprise, Depending on where you're at, they're a force to be reckoned with until the first good frost. Seen it many many times in the north. The Attawapiskat is a prime example. They swarmed us anytime we were out of the wind... -

Very nice! It must suck having Lac Seul on your doorstep. It's Hamilton Harbor for me once I get the kids off to school LOL! -
Nice report Chris, glad to see you got into a few.
