  1. I may be looking for a job, you still hiring?
  2. Wow how fortuitous. I'm looking for a place to store my boat for 5 months..Nov-Mar.
  3. That's excellent advice. At the very least it also gives you lots of time with no pressure to find exactly the right place to buy.
  4. Yeah I'd be fishing the north channel. Really good walleye and pike... The islands in front of Vance bay would be a good starting point. There's places to rent boats if you don't have one.
  5. In the immortal words of Dick Swan use a "searching leader" LOL!
  6. Excellent!. There's nothing a pack of hot headed vigilantes can't handle. If that doesn't work release the hounds!
  7. Fishing kung fu? That was very funny Douglas.
  8. Maybe, maybe not. How come my 6 year old who's still required to use a booster seat isn't when rattling around like a jelly bean in the school bus?
  9. Seriously I've never heard of the underbanks LOL! BTW, I now personally hate your hometown. Drove back from the camp on Sunday behind a convoy of campers being driven by it's blue haired occupants. Have you ever considered visiting New Liskeard during the IPM? Apparantly 15 odd thousand blue hairs do. A normally 7 hour drive took 12. (Sorry for the post hijack btw)
  10. Exactly what I was thinking. Okay that made me laugh.
  11. Ohhh you were talking about steelhead fishing with a centrepin. Nevermind.
  12. Nice fish. But..."the underbanks"? That sounds like a place where hobbits would hang out.
  13. Wow Joey hang in there, very sorry to hear this.
  14. Truer words were never spoken.
  15. Straight fluoro, that's pure fluorocarbon and not a hybrid, does not cast well. Terrible as a mainline, great for leaders.
  16. You might consider simply using a small black barrel swivel.
  17. Buddy you slay me. This thread won't die! Once again thanks everyone for the comments.
  18. Forgot to mention, but if you want to fish hardware try an oversized white spinnerbait tipped with a large dead sucker (do you see a pattern here?). Obviously you'd need to use a stinger as well.. Slow rolled over deep submerged weeds or structure it's always worked for me in more pressured waters.
  19. Was going to say...if you're after bigger pike in the Muskoka area in the fall I'd be fishing a large sucker minnow on a jig over deep structure. Connie already mentioned that in his very informative reply.
  20. Now that made me laugh. Great post. Nice to see you around again Wayne...
  21. Right on nice interview. The host reminded me of "Putty" from Seinfeld LOL!
  22. I might actually make it this year, would love to meet everyone.
