  1. Didn't we have this discussion yesterday? No stripper names!
  2. 8lb's is a lot of weight in two weeks, great to hear!
  3. Wayne you're really thinking outside the box with your suggestions.
  4. If that's a roundabout way of asking if you can join me at the Genny, sure anytime. (She's big time blown at the moment)
  5. Again I could be wrong here, but the only way the previous owner isn't liable is if your offer was condition free.
  6. I may be corrected on this but I don't think the inspector is liable for anything. They're one of my biggest pet peeves next to telemarketers and idiot drivers in this province. 3 times I've paid for one and 3 times they were useless idiots. The guy who "inspected" my house this past July looked like Willie Aames from 8 Is Enough, and about 16 yrs old. (Yeah I know I'm aging myself ) Absolute complete waste of money.
  7. Great year bud, wow! Too bad we couldn't hook up in Nov though. We'll have to remedy that maybe this spring sometime.
  8. "What's up Showty?" Who's Fitty Cent?
  9. Dave already touched on it, but if I lived in a less populated area with less traffic on the roads...bring it on baby! Living down here, even a minor snow event is a major problem if you're forced to drive. You're at the whim of every inept imbecile who can't drive in the snow.
  10. It's been whittled down to 3 and we're at a stalemate now. 2 of the 3 names Dave suggested. Zoey, Chelsey, and Willow At this point we'll wait 'till we get her home to decide. Thanks all
  11. Actually Coke is on our list. Pretty close. That's a great point about the short form, thanks!
  12. Tony is a very old friend of mine. We've lost touch recently though. Great, great guy and those who know him know how hard the last year has been. On a side note, interesting thread Mr. Bailey. In your initial post though, Gatti fly rods aren't Canadian made, they come from Italy.
  13. Nice gesture by Jacques, super nice truck, and wow you've been busy! Looking good Ryan, job well done.
  14. Exactly how long did you leave Kenai alone? Oh wow German Shorthair Pointer Actually Pepper was what we named our first german shorthair, go figure. It was a hard choice. We went there thinking we'd definitely be choosing a solid brown pup,but this little girl just gravitated towards us. Thanks for the kind words everyone. Those of you who have pets know what a big deal it is.
  15. I had one of those soldering/tying thingys they used to sell. Probably at least 30 years ago. It was an okay concept, but my problem with it, it didn't tie the bags tight enough. Way too loose for my liking.
  16. Wayne, now I know you're just playin' with me here. (I hope) Some of your suggestions are pretty good guys, they're all going on the list.
  17. Thanks for all the suggestions folks. As the day approaches we'll decide on one. So far the kids came up with Zoey and it's kinda/sorta growing on me.
  18. Thanks bud and Winnie's going on the list.
  19. I don't know Wayne, it's a bit of a stretch don't you think?
  20. Picked her out today from a litter of 10 and she'll join the family on Dec 30th. I grew up with this breed, just love 'em. I think I'm more excited than the kids. She's a sweet a little girl. Just need to come up with a name. Any and all suggestions will be considered.
  21. I would like to know how they pulled that off.
  22. I laugh at the guys who tie on the river. At any given time I have hundreds pre-tied in every size, shape and colour imaginable.
