  1. I have no idea how they pulled this one off. Wow. Well done boys MEN!
  2. Sheldon my boat with the 30 Honda trolls down to 1.6-1.7 just as a reference
  3. Aw shucks, thanks guys and gals. Just glad to help out. Sheldon - L M A O I'll pass... As rustic as it was...! Pete
  4. Just because people CAN do something doesn't mean they should. When I'm at the cottage fishing if I'm casting docks I stay well away from the ones where I see people near their waterfront. There's lots of spots to fish, respect people and give them space. Just my opinion.
  5. Thanks again Sheldon for your generous bid. The fishing wasn't crazy but we did manage 9 and you and Mike put a few nice ones in the boat, 17 3/4 and 15 being the best 2. The evening bite was pretty solid from 7-10pm - the boys in our second boat landed 6 fish in a row all over 15lbs at one point. My brother in my boat managed a PB also at 18. I'll post the pics here today or tomorrow. Cheers! Pete
  6. Yup 30 seconds with a wet magic eraser and she's purdy again
  7. I would make a run over to Radioworld and have a chat with them Dave, they should point you in the right direction with what cables, hub etc. and have all the parts you need to get set up.
  8. I just finished installing a MKR-18 on my boat. They are indeed made by Marinco, seems like a decent product. Since the cable extension was less than 5' from my trolling motor to the battery, it only called for 8G wire so that's what I used. No 6G adapter needed. Here's the link to the MK chart for what gauge cable to use. http://www.minnkotamotors.com/WorkArea/DownloadAsset.aspx?id=3273 Pete
  9. Bread is a nightmare to keep on the hook, and worms will attract nibbles and bites from every species... corn or boilies are simple and very effective methods. I like to chum with frozen corn (cheaper) but use canned corn on the hooks - the canned corn seems to have a better texture for staying on a hook.
  10. Yeah I debated it too... but decided to wait another few weeks just in case.
  11. Frozen whole B - cut them right before use so all the tasty juices are still flowin!
  12. I have a gas Karcher that needs a new hose - yours for free if you want it. Send me a PM
  13. Anyone seen them in their travels in the east end tribs? Time to stock up on cutbait for cats... Thanks Pete
  14. Yes I'll be there working at the Kelly Kustom Muskie lures booth with Scott Kelly and Andrew (Lunkerhunter). Should be a great show - looking forward to it! Pete
  15. I'm intetested in this post too... Wife will come out fishing more often if tunes are available (yes, I want that lol!) Pete
