I'm pretty sure they would have taken one look at the soaked shoes wet shorts and water all over my shirt...not too mention the word of 2 guys who have been fishing for 25 years without ever a fine and gave us the benefit of the doubt...was a lucky catch and a great 10 mins...the fish is still in there for the next guy all I took was the pics

Not sure which part of the catch your not comprehending but although I did hook the fish in the boat I landed it from shore as I was only 10 feet off it when I caught it and was in less then 4 feet of water...I'm pretty sure your the same gbfisher from the fish ontario website that got shut down because of crap like this...do me a favour and find a better way to spend your time then causing crap on what was one of my best days on the water...I have a friend who will atest to the catch if wish to take matters further... I'm sure the ministry would take the word of 2 people who were there then sombody assuming he knows all possible catch situations and has figured out the probablity of the situation and has come to the conclusion that this could not be possible...funny really I have read a bunch of your posts and you seem to get off on this kind of thing

I hooked the fish while trolling 10 feet off shore the boat ran into a shoal when I was fighting it...as my friend is not so boat savy I stepped out of the boat continued to fight it and landed it acctually standing in the water...I took 3 pics and released the fish...never knew it was going to be a holy war on the website or would have never bothered posting it

THE FISH WAS NEVER TRANSPORTED IN THE BOAT!!!!! You assumed that and you know what they say about assumptions...I get you were only trying to be informative but you should collect the facts before asserting your 2 cents!!!

That fish was not caught in front of my site I was camped on Captain Allen Strait...and the fish was caught on our way back to the docks on our way out....as you can see the boat is packed in the pic...that was the icing on the cake...could see the docs from where I caught it...wasn't fishing for Musky was fishing for walleye as I caught it on a #8 Shadrap (clearly not a Musky lure)...it just happened and was what it was as you can see in the other photos in the album posted in the gallery the camera was allways on the boat...thanks for all your words of wisdom I feel enlightened!!

what does that mean??? retain a fish??? I released this fish after the pics were taken....would never keep a musky...what gave you the idea I kept it

The fishing is good fish it all the time was my second home last summer and been out 10 or so times this year with good luck...sent you a PM

No it was actually caught trolling off a point going from 4 feet to 10 and the end....My PB thanks for posting it here still can't figure it out?

Coming from a guy who has expierence living in the carribean...Moved too Jamaica for 6 months to build villas on resorts...I would never do it again...like everybody says its a very expensive place to live...and believe me its not all One Love down there...first remember that its really a third world country...poverty is abundant there...and you being a white guy stealing a locals job they do not like...I was approached daily for "gratitude" so they call it we call it handouts, had my room robbed 3 times stole my mountain bike sandals and watch right out of my room which I'm sure hotel security was in on...I had people put there hands on me more times then I care to remember...A word of advice if its the same dollars you make here forget it...A nice place to visit but after 1 month I was ready to come home...is this Job on a resort?? Why are they hiring Canadian?? Surely they have qualified butchers there...seems odd...Stay home watch your baby grow up...it will be far more rewarding!!!!

Actually camped right across the river from Cast-Away this weekend and was told about a mother bear with 3 cubs and a male in the area that were to be watched out for....never known or met him until our posts crossed paths and we realized who we were...unlike him we fished the bays and never really hit georgian bay and had a great weekend....word to the wise if you hear Castaway and his buddies are gonna be fishing in your area bring your ear plugs casue these boys like to party....lol just kdding... beautiful spot and will definetly return sorry your luck wasn't great

He lost a Largemouth in the 7-8 lb range it was a monster came flying out of the water 3 or 4 times then made a clean break on 20 lb braid!!! He was to say the least upset....what a great place that is the campsites were awesome we had stellar fishing all weekend even thought the weather was not lets just say ideal...I would say you guys would know but you never got up until 1 pm and missed half the rain...but we had a fantastic time as I'm sure you did (wasn't hard to tell on either of our parts I'm sure) and will definetly be a repeat offender me and my buddy are HOOKED!!!!

What no pics in the boat??? C'mon been fishing the Grand for years from Fergus to Dunnville would love to see the shots...LOL...sweet fish...I'm salivating thing of them battered with a side of brown beans with maple syrup and baked potato!!!!

We went in at Pete's Marina and got camping passes...Camped in a beautiful spot on Captain Allen Straight and caught fish all weekend long actually stayed an extra day!!! I have some great pics but can't figure how to reduce and post....read some posts on it and it said photobucket...tried and said this sight no longer accepts that as reputible site??? If anyone can help got my PB Musky and would love to show it off...my buddy got a must see Catfish in the dark...me waist deep in the water with a headlamp in the pitch black trying to net this thing....SCARY!!!!....but we got it and the pics to prove it...any help would be great

do you have an air vavle on the top of the tankcap check that make sure you have it open when driving especially at high speeds...took me a couple times on the water to figure that out myself....motor can't suck gas from engine if its closed...at slower speeds not so much a problem because lets face it the tanks not airtight and still allows for air to get sucked in slowly....at high speeds more compression hence more air...give it a shot

Well tommorow is the big day weather is not looking promising but were going any way...just thought I would bump this post and maybe get some last minute advice...Hope this works out been wanting to do this trip for years...any advice would be appreciated...Thanks all

That was a stellar day on the water...looks like you guys had a lot of fun tagging those bronzies ...too bad about the gator tell your boy it happens to all of us and to be thankful he got it out of the way early!!! Just curios since you work in the fishing dept of your home hardware how many times a day you walk by the nets??? ...Great report and great pics none the less...tell your boy to forget about the one he lost but allways remember the ones he didn't!!!!

Hey all was wondering if anyone had been to the moon river?? A friend and I are going next weekend and am having trouble finding info on the river...Am looking for boat launch info, hot spots, camping...anything that may help improve our trip...were looking to go in around Bala and spend the night on the water camping...is this possible up there?

I was up there on Friday and Saturday...never fished the lake but had good luck in the river...caught a 42" pike trolling the river edge between the locks and Wasdell Falls 3 keeper walleye and a 21" smallie...I usually go to wasdell camp so its pretty far to ride out the river in a 9.9 but the bite was slow when casting but trolling put us on plenty quality fish...you can find Muskie, Pike, Walleye, Large and Smallmouth Bass, and all the pan fish in the lake...and it's an incredible lake to snorkell...One of my facourite spots!!

Hey was curious if anyone has any info on Euginia Lake...fishing in the CBAF Tourney tommorow and have never fished the lake before...Hunting Smallies and Largies...any suggestions on lures or colors for the lake would be greatly appreciated...thanks in Advance...Tightline!!
