Looks like we solved the problem with my computer... Power supply. Went to buy a new one and the tech at Tigerdirect did a test on the old one only 1 yr old and said it had a problem (possible short) in side.. bought a new one for $32.99.. 450 watts compared to the old one @ 400 watts Dam I missed not being on here

Don't know what is going on with my computer, but...it will work for a little while then it will shut down.. Have to hit the reset on the back of the computer then go to the power button on the front and it will start. Will run for about 1 hr then shut down again.. go to the reset and it will start up again.. Me thinks it could be the power pack but not sure.. still working on it

I don't use cheap oil.. get all my oil from Bay City Marine.. Evenrude oil

Like I was saying... when I drained the oil out today it was still good...I will be putting in new oil again and will let it run and see if it clears up. Motor was run at an Idle.. I will not let it run at full throttle as I only have muffs on the motor and not enough pressure for any thing else... have never run a motor past Idle when ever I have started up with muffs on.. Thanks for all the advise so far on a note the water pump was working because I had a steady stream of water coming out the hose where it comes out of the motor so I know the impeller is working

It was coming out of the area of the prop between where it goes into the housing a little coming out from the exhast area as well.. Took the prop off and found nothing... wondering if it is the anti seize that I put on the shaft as I said.. all the bottom end oil is okay

Started up my motor today and after running for about 5 mins found milky fluid coming out from prop area?? drained oil from lower end to check.. as I did change it before winter... no problem there... all is good.. is it a seal at the prop??? motor is a 70 Evenrude possibly in the early 70's I do believe... Any one with an answer would be great... Thanks in advance

I want to hook up 2 battery for my trolling motor 12v.. do I hook + to+ & -to- then hook motor to + & - on 1 battery or + on 1 battery & - on the other battery to make it run Also which is better electric Minn Kota or Motor Guide for a 17' aluminum.. thinking 42lbs thrust

I don't know what you were doing wrong, but John and myself went to Lakair last summer towing the boat fully loaded on $80.00 worth of gas at I believe 1.09 per ltr...
