    Ice cleats

Alot of my buddies use Yaktrax but find they have to replace them every few seasons....too much ice time perhaps? I've had a pair of Icers for the last six years and they still look like they just came outta the box. The Vibram sole is bulletproof! http://www.icers.nb.ca/
  3. Cut him some slack!...the poor guy is making his way after dealing with so many tards from the industry. Thats one handsome fish.
  4. I see the welcoming mat on the doorstep of the bomber got a workout. Could'nt be happier for Stevie Zee having the hot stick out there. Mikey musta lost his mind slayin trout on that freshwater ocean. Different style of literary reporting from you Bunk. Looking forward to round 2 of "backdoor hijack" to Kesagami's Pike. We're knockin at the door.
  5. I would'nt target largies on Lake Clear. Smallies are king on that particular body of water. Dragging tubes and throwing long bomb topwaters is all that is required. Fish both presentations really slow, especially the topwaters. Whatever you do, have fun and good luck!
  6. Not only did I enjoy the photos...I really enjoyed the story telling. Stealth bomberloads of Garrr for Summer, Dad, Garl(the Gouin) and self made Mike. Too bad you spoiled our double on the day....we'll hunt again.
  7. I was checked out just last week. I asked the officers what percentage of boaters stopped, were not in compliance. They did not have a number but said it was quite low. They did say that alcohol offences were through the roof.
  8. The May slay has me regretting not enough hang time with ya. Enjoyed the recap. Nevermind the jigs and sexies...keep pluckin on the bass.
  9. Thanks for the gesture Mike, the pressure will be felt with every cast. It's 'crunch time'
  10. Some kinda matrixx lure eh?...they are rare. Nice Pike!
  11. Phat sot..just sayin.
  12. It's known as the Black or Maskinonge. Have not fished it it a long time but it was a popular spot for the spring Crappie and Perch run.
  13. A not so quiet fishing tour for you Pikelayer. You did the right thing in all 3 cases..the broken down outboard...the capsized sailboat and getting back in time to fetch Mrs Slayer and Co...the wine and cheese. Good on you!
  14. I like the site/community...ebb and flow. Please don't change a thing.
  15. You've been looking through this window for a few years now, welcome to the other side! Long bites like that are ones to remember man!
  16. Lotsa lakers for you guys...nice! The SS Whisker 1300 stole my heart in this one.
  17. Edited/ Extensive list....hopefully you will add Coho, Atlantics and Sturgeon to that list.
  18. Nice to see you lads picking away at the strawberries. The last minute of vid has my stomach making some loud yelling down the halls....thanks!
  19. Fidel slayin with the plastics n slip floats...oh the horror! One thing about Fidel that stands out when we both worked in fishing tackle circles was his infectious passion for the sport...nothing has changed I see. Thanks for sharing this one solo...it was most enjoyable to read.
  20. I don't see any slabs....just barn doors! This is a time when I really really miss that part of ont.
  21. Have a safe, successful and enjoysble fly-in Beerman. Under the broiler is awesomely delicious. Once filets are skin side down on a slick foil surface Sprinkle a little lemon pepper spice and all natural Barbarian steak spice(amazing stuff for all meats) Finely chopped fresh dill...just a tad especially when fresh. Garlic...pulvarized. Top this with thinly sliced lemon and sprinkle some parmasean cheese. Serve with a side creation. Six minutes under the broiler and enjoy! No fly-in is complete without Walleye tornados...the pics will susplain. It sometimes helps to have a brush with melted garlic butter to keep things under control at the bbq.
  22. This is fantastic news....congratulations are in order! All the best to you for a healthy and happy future.
