I just spent the last two days on the Saugeen and I did not see too much catch and release going on and the number of fillet carcasses strewn on the river bank was not a pretty site!

I wish you luck with your fight but you might end up having to bring it back to the dealer in the states, one of the pitfalls of saving a few bucks in the states is not having a canadian dealer honor the warranty.

Don`t know what type of boat ya have but what I did for the Stratos is this, put the pedestal posts in the front and rear bases and cut some pvc pipe to fit over the posts and then ran a 2x2 the full lenght of the boat to form a frame, ran some rope off the cleats for some support and then tarped it. Works like a charm.

Use marine oil and not automotive oil!

I have never heard of putting antifreeze in a outboard, make sure the outboard is tilted down and it should drain.

I have never drained a carb in my life in any type of engine and I like you have never had a problem. Outside of regular maintenance a little oil in the cylinders with an oil change for a 4 stroke,change your gear oil, treat the fuel with stabil and your done. No need to over think it.

Never have released the drag on any of my reels in 35 years and never had a failure but hey what ever floats your boat! And don`t store your batteries on the concrete!!!

It`s an old scam that is run on virtually every sales site, before I bought the Stratos half the ads I looked at were bogus and for the most part the sites could care less. I had one try to sell me a boat that was sold on E-bay the previous month,scammers everywhere. You know what they say if it sounds to good to be true........!
