It all makes perfect sense it`s called socialism, they come out and bash the very system that allows them some type of income to survive. These dolts don`t want to work hard they just want more of your money. When I retire in a few years I plan on becoming a socialist (the champagne variety) and demand more of everything and I want all you working guys to pay for it!!!

You said you over packed no way, my wife tells me that everyone of those have dozen or so bags I put in the jeep every weekend are must haves!!! Looks like you had a nice time with your pops those times are priceless!

My son is on his second Colorado and he is happy with it. A 4 cyl. Ford escape does not even have a tow capacity listed,when my wife was shopping last winter for a vehicle I asked the sales guy about this and he said it is not reccomended that you tow with the 4 cyl. so you might want to check about possible warranty issues if you plan to tow a couple of thousand pounds.

There was a Chris there. An older gentlemen very nice guy, I actually met him earlier in the year when my buddy had him up to his trailer for a little bass fishing. Met about a dozen guys from the organization and they take their steelheading pretty serious but they were also very willing to help out a newbie which is great, I already have a couple of offers to fish with them again. I just wish I had more time this fall. Anybody wanna buy a bass boat!

Arrived late, Caught no fish Fell in the river face first!!! All kidding aside all of the above is true but I still had a great time met a great bunch of new friends from the Nottawasaga Steelheaders organization! It was painfully obvious that equippment and knowledge wise I was way over my head with this type of fishing but even after the soaking I toughed it out! I am already arranging more trips to the river I can see this type of fishing becoming very addictive! Note to self purchase water wings before next trip!!!

with gold at 1600.00 or so dollars a ounce I would definately go for the silver one but thats only if it matches your rod, after all you don`t want to clash on the river!

Saving 1500 bucks on a 12-13 year old boat is a pretty good savings, 1500.00 buys a lot of gas!

Thanks Cliff Amazon has it, there are almost 2000 books on steelheading so I will appreciate some reviews can`t buy them all!

I know there are a lot of accomplished steelhead fishermen on board just wondering if you guys could recommend a good book that covers equipment,techniques,etc. Thanks
