  1. Thanks for the info. Didn't end up going tonight.. probably headed there tomorrow morning. Looks like it should have dropped significantly by then,... provided there isn't more rain tonight.
  2. Low light they move shallower, but generally stick around 10 - 20 feet.
  3. Looks like a good time bud! Nice job!
  4. :worthy: :worthy: SO jealous dude! Awesome stuff!
  5. He has moved further down has a marina now further down Main St.. Just keep going all the way through town there is a little road on the right (he has a sign out) that takes you to his marina/shop. Actually, there's pretty good fishing out front of his marina off the rocks.
  6. Buddy of mine swears by the double tail 3" mister twisters up there.. for everything apparently.
  7. Start 'em early! I caught my first fish (6lb redhorse sucker) on my 2nd birthday. Dad says he had to grab the back of my diaper to keep me from being dragged in.
  8. Smallmouth bass, perch, sheephead, carp and you never know what else can be caught there. For the most part, your best call is dunking live minnows or worms out there. It's over-said ... but talk to Steve at Fishmaster's in Dunnville. He will tell you exactly how to catch 'em.
  9. Congrats! I'd say that was a great day on the water. Say bye bye to the 6lb test... next comes the telephone pole and 80lb braid! And the bank account will continue to suffer long after that...
  10. Just got an offer to stay at a friend's trailer tonight up Brantford way and fish the grand. After all this rain I cant see it being prime fishing conditions.. anybody been out that way lately that can give some river conditions?
  11. My D-Rama sucks. All the fishing stock is gone except some snap swivels and flies.
  12. Wasn't there a dude on this board who was so allergic to fish he had to wear gloves all the time while fishing? That looked pretty nasty dude. Glad it cleared up.
  13. What color do fish turn in muddy water? WHITE. Do they increase in size? NO. Do they stop eating because they can't see? NO. Get as close to the cover you are fishing as possible.. that is the trick to muddy water. Whatever lure you're throwing will probably work. Being white doesn't hurt.
  14. Just drove back through Binbrook area from a family shindig.. couple of the roads the things that are usually little ditches were washing right over the roads. We almost turned a Passat into some structure trying to traverse that stuff! Watch it out there tonight folks.
  15. Excellent report! Looks like a blast for you & yours. Awesome. For the record it is a fallfish, definitely in no way a salmon.
  16. Nice bass man .. even though you got poured on, I am totally jealous. Wish I had gotten out today.
  17. Nah, Miracle Gro is terrible for that.. you don't want it growing too fast!
  18. And I agree with the first statement before the editing.. been there done that! hahaha
  19. Hit the deep spots, current breaks and eddies... spinners, jerkbaits, crankbaits, grubs.. all work depending on the day. Lots of little river smallies to be caught in that area and though I've never done well there are some walleye to be caught. If you want pike you'll have to do some searching but there are some pike spots close by.
  20. If the fish don't mind getting wet neither do I!
  21. Dollarama jerkbaits baby!
  22. Ohh dude... I know you love carp.. but I didn't think you like... LOVED them!
  23. Back reeling can be more precise than a drag system if you learn how to do it. I throw the anti-reverse off when I'm tubing for Erie smallies.
  24. Full cork everywhere except the handle by the looks of the pic, lol
