Anyone using a deep cycle battery as a starter battery...? I know outboards typically don't charge enough for deep cycle... But 90% of my days on the water my motor is only started once then runs for 5-12 hours straight... Anyways... Looking for experience... Thanks

Depends on what's on the hook... Live bait... I think it matters... Soft plastics... I don't think it matters.... But I still try to match the jig with the plastic

Anyone have any reviews on the bait caster version? Cabelas has them for 159 plus 30 rebate... So 129 from 199.... They look pretty cool... And that's a pretty good discount...

This one is from Germany.... And yes it's name is "Mary" In England and Europe... Most waters are privately owned... Owners remove small carp from the lakes leaving only the bigger ones to feed on the hundreds of pounds of bait put in the lake weekly.... They end up rediculously fat like this one... And from what I've watched online... It's like dragging in a huge lump of a fish... Not many runs... Just some head shakes....

2 ways to look at it... If everyone stopped to help it would be creating a dangerous situation for another accident... But I'd say anyone with training should stop... Or if there isn't anyone stopped yet... Stop I was first on scene once and ended up pulling an elderly lady from her car that was upside down in a ditch... She was pretty shakin up... We called 911 and waiting for EMS then we left...

I somewhat understand not taking away natural resource rights given... I don't agree... But I understand.... But giving more rights... Thats ludacris... It's seams that the majority spends years to take 1 step foreword... Then the minority takes everyone 2 steps back in an instant... Just glad my First Nations friends don't abuse the rights given to them... They follow the same rules I do out of respect for the fishery...

Ended up having nothing to do with running out of gas or plugged anything.. It was a corroded computer that controls your fuel pump in some way... Tow+parts+labour... $500

Speaking strictly about "fish" and not shellfish or anything like that.... Less then once a week on average for the year.... 2-3 times a week max... In the opening weeks of walleye... But I sometimes go 2-3 weeks with zero fish consumed....

Truly sad to hear... Love his music... Even have my 2 year old loving big joe mufferaw.... Especially when I sing it and make funny faces like Stompin Tom did... Sometimes when I'm trolling walleye on a calm night I play a little Stompin Tom... Put my feet up... And just troll...

Well... Got me to work and back... No issues... Fingers crossed... Gunna get some gas line antifreeze... Just in case... Thing is... I let it get low so I get as big a fill up as possible because I fill up in the USA... So more gas per trip is more savings... Bridge toll.... But the empty light never came on this time... A buddy at work said he used to have a truck that would studder in turns if he was low on gas... Anyways... Seams ok now... Thanks for the replies everyone... If it blows up ill let you know...

So I ALMOST ran out of gas from what I can tell... If I did my gauge malfunctioned.... I was on my way somewhere and my truck stalled... It started right away... Then all was fine for a while... Then every so often it felt like I'd loose power for a split second... It stalled 2 more times at stops on my way to the gas station.... Then I filled up and it seamed ok... A couple hiccups then smooth as silk till I got home.... When i took a hard left to get in the driveway it stalled again... So my question... When you run out of gas... Can it be normal to have a few stalls/hiccups.... Like maybe the truck has some "bubbles" in the fuel line or something.... And please... Nobody respond with "running out of gas kills your fuel pump"... I've read this online 50 times already.... I'm just wondering if it is to be expected to have a few stalls or studders after filling up and getting started....

Did you do some mods??? The bike in the first pick doesn't match the second and third pic... Front forks... Tail lights... Exhaust... "Reverse thrusters"... Lol
