  1. The way I was looking at it was if I can avoid drilling any extra holes in my floor.... And not sacrifice space... That would be my best route... That's just my thought process...
  2. That's good to hear.... If I'm solo riding WOT I get a little porpoise.... But nothing serious....
  3. My boat performs awesome... I'm fully satisfied with current performance...
  4. The primary reason is to prevent the long tiller on my new Yamaha from hitting me seat/leg.... I'm getting by... But 3-4" would help.... And I don't want to move my seat ahead any more....
  5. I dunno... I thought it would improve performance... Like adding 4" length to the boat... Faster plane... That's why I'm asking... I'm hoping someone has used one....
  6. Like this http://www.iboats.com/4-Outboard-Motor-Spacer-Set-Back-Plate-Panther/dm/view_id.163199
  7. Hello... So I've seen outboard spacers online but with very little info on them... I'm not talking about jack plates... It's pretty much just a 4" spacer so your motor sits further back.... I'm very interested in taking this route but was wondering if anyone has done this to their boat.... The tiller arm on my Yamaha is a lot longe then the old Honda... So the tiller arm pretty well hits my seat.... I do not want to move my seat and lose boat space... So for me the spacer sounds like the best route... So please if anyone has installed a spacer on a motor other then a kicker... Let me know what you think and how it worked... I have a 50hp Yamaha tiller.... Thanks
  8. The black one reminds me of the gears of a clock or something... Very cool reels...
  9. St Lawrence.... I boated 80 walleye last week... They are still concentrated in post spawn.... Shoot me a PM if you want some more info...
  10. Where are you located and how far you looking to drive?
  11. I know some left due to being bullied off the site... The double standards by members at all levels are incredibly frustrating to many members.... Some even seem to go out of their way to get others threads locked down... One member can make a post and be reamed out while another can make virtually the same post and get a pat on the back.... Big one there is OOS fish... For some reason it's ok for some members to post pics... But not all... Some of us are lucky/stubborn enough to stick around long enough to know how to walk on eggshells with this touchy group... Others just leave...
  12. Also... Di is only useful if your moving... Sitting still its virtually useless....
  13. Down imaging is more for structure then anything else... I've seen some really cool stuff with Di that the regular sonar doesn't really show well.... If money is tight I wouldn't worry about getting Di... But I feel for my style of fishing it has helped me.... And I think it's $100 give or take price difference....
  14. Sweet water wheels... Looks like a comfortable ride...
  15. Usually anything like this that goes through the ice in the winter they end up finding at the next dam down river..... Just this one somehow got beached in a patch of grass... I called local PD and they gave me the OPP number... But OPP said it wasn't their jurisdiction... But they would pass along the info the the Akwasasne police... But 3 days later it was still there....
  16. So the other day I was out fishing when I noticed something in some marsh grass... I figured I'd check it out... You never know what you'll find... Especially around here... So I pulled up and wouldn't you know it... It was a COW!!!! Dead of course... Apparently a farm lost 14 through the ice last winter.... I notified the authorities and gave them the location... I figured 1 good storm and there might be a big black and white hazard floating around for boaters...
  17. We had "power button" issues with 3 lowrance units... It's hummingbird from now on
  18. I ate the walleye in question last May... When i atarted this thread...Everything is fine... I did some research and its harmless unless you like your walleye "RARE"... As long as its fully cooked all is good...
