Simon. This is just an old fashioned winter for us. You haven't been up this way for very long, but this is nothing new. It's either record setting cold, or mild and snowing. I remember the entire month of January waking up to -20f and lower temps. Welcome to the north my friend.

Windows 8 is a failed attempt by microsoft to compete with the apple system. Sorry. You snooze, you lose. I still like my windows based pc's and don't know if I'd ever buy a mac, but I'm having so much fun with my iphone (3 months now), that I'm on it more than my laptop or pc now.

I'd have to say Paul McCartney. Always been a big fan. Besides him, Stompin' Tom would have been high on my list as well. I don't know why I picked two musicians. I like music but there's lots of things that I enjoy more. Oh well. I guess that they've left a big impression on me. -

Leafs needed to win by more than one goal tonight imho, and they did. Even if it was against my home town Staal bros. I ran into Eric at a local gas station this past summer. Nice humble guy.

When I changed the coolant in my old 96 F-150 a few years back, I blew out the old stuff in the heater core and poured some CLR and let it sit for an hour or so. When I flushed it out, the crap that came out of it was amazing. To this day, I can barely hold my hand in front of the dash vents with the heater on without burning my hands. Not bad for an 18 year old beater. The heater is now the best thing about my old truck.

Yup. It's either -30 or snowing and milder. Only time I leave the house is to go to the beer store. That's where my $20.00 bill broke in half.
