  1. Heh, heh. Have a great day Kemper.
  2. LOL. Spelling lessons at their finest.
  3. That's weird. He wore the same costume and did the exact same dance the entire 3 days that I spent with him last September.
  4. She's looking for animated gif's. Not animated gifts.
  5. I don't know if it's just luck, but in the past 10 years I've never had one of my 3 clones in for repairs. I had one in the shop for a virus removal in my early days of computer owning (my fault and something that I can correct myself these days), but otherwise I've not had a problem. I like the thought of being able to pick and choose just what you want in a computer. For instance, a a high end video card is important for me because of my photography hobby, but a high end audio card isn't. IMHO, buying from the local small guy will give you a great product at the same price or better than the big guys. Give them a look. .
  6. What can I say Joey?? You go girl!!
  7. The surface water reflections are amazing Pam. This is one of your best.
  8. Thunder Bay to Sudbury is the new banana belt. C'mon up for a tropical vacation this January.
  9. Go to a small local shop and have them build one for you. That way you get what you want, and probably for less too. I haven't bought a package computer yet.
  10. Unless your b vent galvanized exterior is rusted, which is possible above the roof line, then it's fine. I've never seen the aluminum lining wear out. If it's rusted above the roof line, then you only need to replace the top section.
  11. Dustin, the distance from Wawa to Atikokan is about 400 miles, so it looks like it's about the same time wise as going through International Falls. You may also consider driving from Duluth Minnesota up to Thunder Bay. A beautiful drive as well along Superiors north shore. Or head up one way and drive back the other. Lots of choices there..
  12. I've got 183 pictures on Photobucket averaging about 75 kb.s each and I'm at 1% of what my free account allows. That's a lot of free photo storage.
  13. And don't forget to tie the boat up when you come to shore in such conditions, or someone will have to do this to retrieve it. BRrrrrrr.....
  14. I'm totally serious. Wawa is just down the road from me. There's been several May long weekends in the past 15 years or so when it has been touch and go for the ice being off the lakes up here. Here's a photo from 4 or 5 years ago on the May long.
  15. Ice starts to melt in March and should be totally gone by June. Maybe.
  16. Most of the passengers probably are too TJ.
  17. You are absolutely right John. But I think that in Gerritts case, a mid makes more sense simply because he stated what his heating bills are now and what his savings will be. But you are correct in the fact that an older, less efficient house would benefit the most from a high efficiency furnace.
  18. LOL!! Excellent job. Now there's a boat load of people that I'd like to spend the day with. Thanks for that mistyriver1, and merry Xmas to you too.
  19. I'm...
  20. I was wondering where you were Steve. Nice to see you back. Fantastic series of photos! Thanks for sharing those. Hope your heel heals real soon. Get it? Heel heals??
  21. There's not one day in the next weeks forecast that doesn't call for temps above freezing up here. That's unheard of. It could easily be -20 or -30 by now. One one hand, you gotta like global warming. But on the other hand, this planet is doomed.
  22. Of course I'll never forget the look on Mahumbas face when he caught his best Brook Trout ever. A gorgeous 22" male. It was nice to be able to share that moment with him.
  23. Like Spiel said, your choice of locations seems good. I'd have at least one set line with live bait. If minnows are too difficult to transport, bring some worms. I've caught my share of Brookies through the ice using either minnows or worms. Also I've found that Brook Trout are very spooky when fishing them over the ice. I can't count how many times that I've ran over to a set line when a bite was occurring, only to discover that the fish was not there when I got to the hole. So, no playing football while waiting for a bite!!
  24. There's no other benefit besides fuel savings Gerritt. According to your figures, that works out to about 6 years before you break even. High efficiency furnaces are more complicated, which means more to go wrong. For instance they have 3 heat exchangers that could possibly burn out as opposed to one on a mid. If you had a larger house with higher heating costs (meaning more monthly savings), I'd say go with a high. But in your case I'd pocket the extra $650.00 and go with a mid.
