  1. Heres us. 2005 Legend 196 could use a little more motor but other than that love it. If you see us arround come say Hi have a big salmon decal on both sides of the bow.
  2. Glad your getting her fixed up and back where she belongs OI.
  3. This is long sold. Please delete.
  4. Weird both my boats slowed down on the troll. 4stroke?
  5. Just read the whole thread and ran out to the shop to check it. It's a 13x17p mercury spitfire. If your close to your max rpm with the prop you have now it's probably a good fit.
  6. I switched to a 4 blade on my last two boats. Night and day difference once you get the right prop. Both on plane and in rough water. What prop ,motor and wide open rpm you pulling now? I have a brand new merc spitfire that was a little ambitious for my 115merc on a 20 ft boat. i think it's a 17p and wouldn't turn enough wot rpm. I ended up with a 15. It may be a good fit. your welcome to try before ya buy.
  7. Nice slab. Chris let's go ice fishing this year! I'll even wear a blindfold.
  8. I hadn't put a jacket on in years... apart for that one day in pikeslayers boat (21ft starcraft takin em over the bow) ..it all changed the day my son was born I now wear auto inflate cabellas branded. Super comfy feel like an idiot for not wearing it for the last 20 years.
  9. I do have to trim up ever so slightly on 19ft legend to get good image.
  10. Lost one boat side 2 years ago on the lower grand. Only a 30"er but was definitely a musky. I had enough time e to look at it as I was the one who forgot the net and was volentold to lip it.

  14. we have a 2005 19.5 ft legend. hull is nice. no complaints. Ours is a starcraft hull with legend stickers .
  15. lol Funny guy Sy. the only reason dad wanted that photo was "to get a photo like grandpas"
  16. the bigger ones were fiestty. i trued to run the lighest gear i could. ran spinning gear off the riggers. but dipsies and leadcore we were just winching em in. the bottom was stacked like cordwood with fish but had to run the baits up about 20 ft to get bites. this was my first time walleye fishing erie i just went into it with an open mind , once we had a bite or two started feeding em what they wanted.
  17. i think im safe. it was fun but it dosent scratch the itch like the big kings do for me. the dipsie rips went quite as ferocious lol
  18. I hear ya.. i almost didntt post that pic. for this reason. like dan said below theres multipal comercial boats out of most ports in canada on erie literaly netting tons of fish daily for your local sobys We Went one time and caught a limit. I dont feel the least bit guilty apart for the one lager fish that wouldent revive. If this was an inland lake completely different story. I dont understand how theres so many fish with so much pressure but there is actualy talk of increasing limits for recreational fisherman in the future.
  19. nice fish.. its true often forget about em in huron
  20. looks like an amazing trip you both will remember for ever.
  21. lock this up before i say something that will get me banned please.
