  1. Hi Guys I have a friend and his family going to Nosbonsing for several days in 2 weeks . I never fished it . He really would like to see a couple Muskies but will be fishing for Bass and Walleyes with his kids . He is staying at Big Moose camp if that helps . Any tips on the lake or to troll or cast for Muskies would be of help . If you want send me a PM I'll get the info to him . Thanks for the help .
  2. I used the 5500 and 6500 for a lot of years without any problems until I started throwing more double 10's all the time . They took their toll on the gears and me . I have several Revo's now and can cast the bigger lures a lot longer then before .
  3. Sounds like a tough day on the water . Which lake were you on ? I have a friend and his 3 sons heading to Buckhorn next week end for the yearly trip I hope the weather improves for them . Thanks for the report.
  4. My son and I made a fly in trip to Reindeer Lake for big Pike we took our Muskie rods with 65 Lb power pro and flurocarbon 80 lb leaders no problems but we were casting some pretty big lures . You should be fine with your set up .
  5. Muskie lures are getting way to costly . I have a bunch I bought many years ago for $8 - $10 dollars now the same lures are selling for $25 -$30 thats a big mark up . Sure the paint jobs are better and heavier hooks but that is a big jump . I hope my wife gets a good price for my lures when I pass or she gives them to my grand kids LOL.
  6. Nice report Pete glad you had a good week . You already sent me the pictures so I know you caught what you said LOL . Now you will be ready for your next trip to Sturgeon maybe you will give me some tips . Talk to you latter.
  7. Thanks for the report . Like your boat . Great pictures .
