Due diligence- call and talk to someone from Customer Service about the warranty program ( take names)...Hopefully you never need to use it but it doesnt hurt to know what to expect should "something" not be right or (knock on wood icon) it gets broken wish i could tell ya more John ...but i dont own one ...good luck with your decision

unfortunately i know from experience on how those hooves feel hitting you from the doe ....the little fawn looks sooooooo cute and innocent but its hooves are almost razor sharp and i had one penetrate through my jeans (on my thigh) and start thrashing around whilst stuck in my jeans removing most of my pants from my body....luckily i only received shallow cuts to the thigh......oh the stories i can tell from the farming days.... the dog will be fine ...although it looks bad im sure the dog was fine (maybe not his ego) ...most of the plunges grazed him or missed....my aussie at the time took a few good licks from Elk and NZ Reds until he learned to read the deer better and learned to change direction in mid air/flight

Wayne - i have a associate with a 4 seater Piper that is considering floats for his plane....last Monday when we were flying up to Manitoulin (flying past our destination lake to the airport) he brought it up to have floats because my brother in laws camp is right on the water (mindimoya)sp)amongst other reasons im sure now that he JUST retired last friday... Could you PM me a ballpark figure as to cost and how long it would take to have his plane equipped? If you need pics of the plane i have some on my comp and can pass them along to help out the cause This isnt an immediate or priority at this time so it wont interfer with your summer plans
-
Im probably wrong with this but here goes .... The displacement of the floats is far greater then the weight of the plane requirements so if there is 150 pounds heavier on one side of the plane and the plane is centered on the float chassis it wouldnt have much (if any?) effect (due to the distance from center to float)...but if there is a small difference this is probably why planes dont land on auto pilot and the pilots skill level with any individual plane shines through to deal with the many variables (wind weight etc) Now we should hear from the professionals ....this is just a guess or..maybe all planes are bilaterally symmetric???

Nice clean fish ...Good shottin I think its was 95 or 96 the last time i pulled a 40 +# fish out of Big O ...if your prediction is right ...it might mean comming down there for some fun on the lake and even in the river with the float gear this fall I love the fight on a mooching reel.... Good on ya

knock on the closest houses door and ask for permission....sometimes people do own the beds to the rivers and streams ...but ...they cant own the water that flows through it ....to save yourself any expenses or harassment .....its easy to ask for permission and costs nothing Cheers and Good Luck...(a smile goes along way

700 wind turbines proposed for lakes Erie, St. Clair
Twocoda replied to Spiel's topic in Fishing News
well it seems the turbines are a success thus far on Huron .....as long as you dont have to see or hear them ...they do what their supposed to do ... personally i think solar is a better the way to go ....especially offshore solar -
are there any real estate lawyers on board that can close out a deal before the HST July 1st? i know its a long shot but ...cant blame a guy for trying to save 8 percent on a lot

just to take Arts comments a step further .....if you are one of the "target boat" keep in mind the big guys have heads and anchors on them ....when they are stationary it legal to consume alcohol...and whats more fun than sitting in the middle of the lake pounding down a few coolies while the ladies rid themselves of tan lines...not the case for all im sure but if you boat defensively (like your supposed to drive your vehicle)...chances are youll never have a collision on the water... what really ticks me off is when the cruisers remain up on plane at cruising speed in the fog and consider the radar the only thing that matters.... i have had two VERY close encounters one with a cruiser and one with a sailboat that still had full mast in 3 feet visibility ive had many other incidences with fishing boats but those are a different story all together
