  2. Ha ha! Terry! Yea, Im still around...barely, it seems the floodgates opened after I got home...literally. lol! close.... I must admit, it is one of my favourites too. I agree, but you'll do in a pinch....
  3. Yea, sure was fun! Heres a few more pics. Big Temagami sky. This sunset was spectacular, unfortunately it only lasted about 5 min. This was the last full day and it was beautiful... I just like this pic.... Love those colours....
  4. You are correct Terry but current legislation requires chlorination if the water is distributed through underground piping. All of the systems I have designed and installed get both.
  5. Nice Terry! I guess finding parking on the weekend is nearly impossible. I should just move up north.....
  6. Well for starters it can remove the taste and odour of the chlorine that the governing body pumped into it. I prefer a whole house carbon filtre though, about the size of a water softner without the brine tank. To answer your question Cliff, yes I use it but only the large glass bottled carbonated mineral water. I will however bring my own water in a re usable rubbermaid thing to the gym etc .
  7. Yea, lots more pics bud, but mostly boring stuff with the cowlings off and me checking fluid levels etc......doubt you'd want to see it.

  11. My mom had mentioned to me that she really wanted to see the Olympic torch and she was going to go see it at Square One in Mississauga. I wasnt sure how close she would actually get to it there. Luckily enough, the guy that was chosen to run the last leg here in Orangeville is a friend of mine, Bryon Mackie, former welterweight and middleweight Canadian boxing champ and he was going to light the big flame here in town so I told mom to come on up, her chances of getting close were much better. She got closer than she had ever hoped and was tickled pink, but declined the offers of getting her pic taken. I had no such qualms.... I must admit, it was pretty cool! Bryon Fern, Bryon and me

  14. I believe. A good friend of mine who lives in Southgate (N/W of Shelburne) was over at a neighbours and the MNR was there investigating the killing of two horses on his property. My buddy told them that a really big dog had been leaving prints around his pond. The biologist went over to his pond and confirmed that they were indeed cougar tracks. He made me promise not to tell his wife, lol. He also has a pic of a bear in a cornfield next to his house.
  15. MADD is supporting these actions too, perhaps they should change their name to MAD. Period. Utterly ridiculous.

  20. At this point in my life, I would have to say walleye. They are available pretty much year around and when they arent, it isnt for too long. They have a huge geographic range so you can fish them in a lot of different places, catching them with a city skyline as a backdrop or just beautiful bush and anything in between. With varying techniques available for catching them you are able to mesh your mood with whatever style or speed of fishing suits you at the time. The flesh is excellent table fare if you wish and they are also easy to C&R if you choose to do so. They are indigenous to the areas I fish unlike invasive species such as the pacific salmonoids or steelhead/rainbow, goby or asian carp, thus helping to maintain an ecological balance.
