My son lives in Noelville (French River), I was talking to him yesterday and he was telling me that a few of the guys have been reporting getting some. He kind of thought that they should be starting this weekend.

So often I have heard or read the words "I'd give anything to spend just one more.......... with". By then it is too late and nothing you could give will make it happen. Now is the time to spend that one more minute/hour/day. Now, while you still can, not just with your kids but with your parents, friends, loved ones. Remember the difference between life and death is a single heartbeat.

Oh man I ame really getting wound up for the 19th! AILE GOBY; unless I'm confused, our group trip is the 19th, not the 18th (or are you going both days).

Water level in Sturgeon Lake is the highest we have seen it since we moved here in 2001. I would say that it is at least 1' higher than any of the previous years. My shore line has taken a real beating from the wind and waves the last three days and with all this snow melting I think it will go up a bit more before it starts to drop back. MNR called off the walleye spawing observations because of the high levels and turbidity. Hopfully thinge will get back on track next week. I've got some docks to build!

I would feel much more comfortable knowing that! They will have some accountability to you as the customer.

Does the place that you are buying it actually do the service and warranty on it? We see quite a few "off shore" ATVs and carts that are sold by TSC and others that sell but don't service them. While I can't really say too much about them we have had a couple of units that we have had a real problem getting parts for especially for the electrical systems. On a couple of occasions we have had units sit for 2-3 months waiting for parts. I wouldn't say don't get one; if it was me, I would find out who does the service work, then I would go and ask them what sort of parts inventory they have for your unit. If they tell you that they can usually get parts within a few days, find out where they would get them from then call that place and ask what the delivery would be on a coil or a stator or something for the unit you want to buy. A little bit of research and work now will save you a lot of problems later on.

I don't have any experience with that unit but I have several Garmin GPS units and if the quality of the 300C is as good as the GPSs I wouldn't mind trying one. Actually I think I might even spend the extra and go to the 400C.

Boy, I just had a very nice PM from FLEX ROD with some very interesting links and some excellent information. If anyone else is thinking of changing, PM him (just so no one screams spam) and I am sure he'll share it with you. Thank you so much!

Moe, check and see if you have Xplornet.com in your area, I got them for my high speed and I am VERY satisified with the service and support. Cliff Oh, and I get to keep my same phone number too!

Buster, you find that neat? Scares the daylights out of me. The fact that they wanted my drivers license, mothers madin name, full address, and a few other questions really had me wondering just how much information they have on me. Not to worry, from the sound of it, I'll be changing very shortly. Got rid of my Bell cell phones, sympatico, now my land lines, only thing left (and that won't be for long) is Express VU. The day that happens I'm having a "Good Bye Bell" party! (might even have a drink or two).

Talk to any media outlets in the target area that would focuse on the group of people that you want to attract. Get them to help you with some publicity; an article or two. Take that article (or 2) and visit any of the people that advertise in that publication and soliticite them for a donation and offer to have them mentioned in the follow up article "We wish to thank our sponcers for making this event such a wonderful success, That will give you an in with sponcers that already target the group you are approching, promote the sponcers products to the group they are after and give the compeditors prizes that they should be able to use. You might want to check with Valens, I know they have a "gate fee", you might be able to get them to wave the fee for a "charatable event", wouldn't hurt to ask.

Just got some information on a company called Mobilewave.net they are offering a package for $24.95 a month that would allow me to keep my current phone number and give me unlimited long distance anywhere in North America as well as several features. My biggest concern is that I can't seem to find any consumer reports or reviews on them or their service. I would very much like to get away from Bell India, when I called them today; after asking me about 7 security questions they then wanted my drivers licence number (just for security purposes) that is when I hung up! Anyway, I'd like to switch but would like any feed back from anyone that uses a digital phone service or has any information regarding (good or bad) this company called Mobilewave. Big Cliff

Evening out on the Yacht fishing kitty kats
Big Cliff replied to nautifish's topic in General Discussion
I love your attitude! Basement flodded; can't fix it; go fishing! Nice report and beautiful pictures! -
Thank you ladies, only thing that could make this trip better is if we had you along fishinFanatic69; while we'd love to have you along, this is a charter that we booked a while back and space is limited. If you are interested in getting out for some of those big cats though, you should contact Fishmaster, he will help you out!

John, PM your address and phone number, I'd be happy to swing by and pick you up! We'll make sure we have time to grab breakfast, one look at me and you'll know I don't miss a chance to eat very often!

No, they aren't worth it, the reason we have a debt retirement charge on our hydro bills is because of miss management and far too much money being paid out to people that don't deserve it. They tell us to cut back on our usage to save money then they raise the rates because revenue was going down and costs were going up. They tell us that we are only paying 5.9 cents PKWH but when you add in the cost to get it to them, the cost to get it to us, the debt retirement charge and the taxes on the dollars that I had left after the took away my income tax it works out to be closer to 15 cents per KWHR. Ahhh, I have to start thinking happy thoughts; fishing opens soon.

Only 18 more days until our trip with Fishmaster for those big cats. I'm marking them off on the calander and getting excited! John, ALIE GOBY, HearingFish, Bitsmith2k, and myself will get a chance to hook up and enjoy our outing. I'll be leaving Lindsay early that morning and have room for three passangers, anyone want me to pick them up along the way? If so, send me your address and phone number. Fishmaster, what time do you want us there? What should we bring? What is supplied?
-
Check to see if the mouse chewed any wires, also you should be able to find the serial number of that motor, you will want that if you need to order any parts for it. Check to see if there is any spark, after sitting for that length of time you may need new coils for it. The other thing I would do is replace the impeller on it. Any chance the owners manual might still be around?

Almost any of the good quality ones will do fine, I have had some problems with the "economy" grade ones. The only reason I like to use stabilizer even when running them dry is that there can be a bit of fuel left in the lines or fuel filter and if that starts to turn to varnish while the unit is in storage and it gets into your carb when you do go to restart the unit it can cause problems. Fresh fuel will usually disolve it once it has a chance but why risk having a problem. Same thing with wrapping the power head, not necessary but IF something does get in the muffler and plug it, it isn't something most people would catch until they have replaced the spark plug, fuel filter, and rebuilt the carb, it is the last place an inexperienced person would look for a problem with performance on a small engine. I have had several things brought in that wouldn't run right (usually after someone had tried to fix it themself) that had nothing more wrong with it than a plugged spark arrestor or exhaust. Clean that up and fix the repairs that were done and away you go!

There are no simple answers, every dog is different! There is so much to learn for both you and the pup. # 1 a puppy shouldn't be expected to "hold it" for more than one hour for each month of age ie. if you get your pup at 7 weeks old (optimum) you should be ready to let it out about every two hours (yes, even in the middle of the night) that doesn't mean it won't go longer than two hours but you shouldn't expect it to. You should probably try to get a book or two on how to raise/train your pup and read them BEFORE you get a dog, you may decide you just aren't ready to get one yet and it is better to know before you get one than after. Go to your local animal shelter they will probably be able to give you some really good information on raising a puppy. At about 5-6 months old you should probably start taking your dog to obedience classes, it is good for the dog to spend time with other dogs and it will help you learn how to get the best out of your relationship with your dog.

I'm not worried about condensation, the only way that could happen is if there was moisture in the bag when you sealed it up and there would have to be a LOT of it.

WOW, what a haul (on both counts) Give that Princess Sydney a huge hug for me, tell her it won't be long before I can give her one myself!
