  1. My Dr's are certain I had it back at the end of January. By the beginning of February I was sicker than I have ever been. It got worse from there. By the first week of March (the same time the first reported death of COVID in Canada happened) I had to go to emergency for the second time. I couldn't breathe and felt like I was dying. The emerg Dr thought I was having congestive heart failure. Lots of x-rays, tests later that was proven not the case. They didn't know what was going on. While there my BP spiked at 200/140 and my oxygen levels dropped to 80% at one point. After most of the day in there I stabilized and they sent me home. Still couldn't breathe. My Sr sent me to heart and lung specialists had to fly to Edmonton for some of my heart tests. After all the tests they still found nothing. This virus does some weird things and they are only now starting to figure them out. I had severe chest pains and pain radiating down my left arm and across my collar bone for months, I couldn't breathe for months, my blood chemistry was completely screwed up. I had issues with my stomach, liver, heart and lungs. My heart/chest pain finally subsided at the end of June. 5 1/2 months after I first got sick. The stomach issues are still there, the blood issues worked themselves out with the help of a pile of prescriptions. I was so weak I could barely function for months. I'm now at 10 months since I first got sick and am still not 100%. I don't know when or if I will ever be. I've had a headache for months, can't remember things and and can't concentrate. But I hear some people say it's just the flu. It turns out I'm in a group of people that have had COVID symptoms for more than 90 days (2.2% of people that have had COVID). As of today I'm on day 311 😷 I would bet $$$$$ that this thing has shortened my life. By how much I don't know. OH, my arthritis is 2 to 3 times worse now as well. I can barely walk, my back has me doubled over most days. Cortisone shots in my spine have been helping but they only do a small section at a time. Each time I go I have to fly to Edmonton to get them done and then when I get back to Yellowknife I have to self isolate for 14 days because of the virus. As of December 20th I will have had to self isolate 48 days since the end of June. But it's OK, it's only the flu.
  2. I buy tons of stuff from them. They are like the Toys R Us for guys!!!
  3. FYI, for future needs Canadian Tire also carries them.
  4. Well up in my neck of the woods most people have never registered their boats at all. Plenty of big a$$ boats running around sans numbers here. No one cares. You are never asked to provide any paperwork. It's not like the feds will ever come looking for us miscreants up here. Fed: Sir I need to see your license Me: huh? License? I don't need no stinking license!!! Fed: Oh, you're getting a ticket it's $50 Me: Hmmmm, so you spent $11,000 flying around the arctic so you could give me a %50 ticket? That's just mint bye!!! OH and something else strange has been going on. Ever since the gun ban was announced my sonar has been seeing this more and more. It's really weird.
  5. Tonight's going to be YUGE!!!! https://www.tvo.org/about/alternative-viewing-premiere-november-3-2020-dont-miss-tvo-original-picture-my-face-the-story-of?fbclid=IwAR2VE3M1dg2uVIKlvq57gC6NxHsH8ThyG6CC6qbrlcf9UB-e6hP9Pp_qiSQ
  6. I have a den at the foot of my driveway. I throw my scraps and leftovers out for them.
  7. Yep, seen some good ones. Took this time lapse last month.
  8. Not at all. Won't be long before snowmobiling and.........................
  9. OH NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! You poor Southerners!!! 🤣
  10. Sorry man I'm lapidary intolerant so I never touch the stuff!!! 😜
  11. I'll bet the boys up in T'Bury were duckin' for cover. https://www.facebook.com/OntarioTornadoWatch/posts/3443823389042134
  12. The first one should keep you in that range and has .100 versus .067 aluminum and has the extra length and beam width. I believe it would be a better purchase in the long run.
  13. In my opinion this would be a much better purchase. The aluminum used is 36% thicker making a more durable hull. Not sure how much the G3 is but the Crestliner 16' is 17" longer and 25" wider. It will be much more stable and I would bet the tires on the trailer are bigger than the little 12" ones on the G3 package. Bigger wheels mean less wear and tear on the bearings and tires. https://www.crestliner.com/vision/1600-vision-tiller/ And if you really want to go for broke the Pro Tiller looks bad a$$. https://www.crestliner.com/pro-tiller/1650-pro-tiller/
  14. T8/9, 9/10, L4/5 and L5/S1 on my end
  15. I don't think my back would take running a tiller all day now. Would have to take a bunch of shore breaks to shake out the kinks. Hopefully the doc at my appointment in Edmonton next week can come up with a solution to my debilitating back pain I suffer from now. 😪
  16. Get Pat Foran on the case!!!! http://www.patforan.com/3758/Contact-Pat-Foran.htm
  17. Correct. If the compression is low it makes it much harder to initially draw fuel into the cylinder. Wrapping the rope around the flywheel spins the motor over faster to help combat the issue. So I would change the rope and then do a compression test. That info will point you where to go next.
  18. I painted my 18 foot Fisher in the mid 90's. I did all the prep work myself and had a friends buddy who was a painter spray it for me. My paintjob was very reasonable because of the DIY aspect of it. Probably around $1000 including painting the trailer. I also replaced all the carpet and did that myself. Cost about $200 but a lot of hours. My boat was grey with grey carpet from the factory and I wanted to colour change to match my sweet navy blue Bronco. 😁
  19. It could be a bit of a weak stator assembly and being able to get a more robust spin is helping to start the engine. I would replace the pull start rope with a longer one and see what happens. It could also be cracked or worn reeds too. This will show up in a compression test.
  20. To be fair, you are using instructions that are badly translated from Chinese.
  21. That's almost as bad as the sail boaters setting up a race course in the middle of the pack area where all the charter and rec boats are fishing the staging salmon at Pt. Credit and then at the end just cutting the anchor lines from their buoy's to then get caught in down rigger cables.
