  1. Or if you're like me and do both........... I have an older Minnkota that I added the Copilot to for the remote. Have both remote and pedal. Pretty sure the ones that come with remote also have the pedal in know the one on my buddies boat does. It's a Terrova.
  2. This is the one we're getting in the NWT. I don't know why we're not getting the other one as it could just be stored on the porch. The Moderna one will need to be brought inside to keep it warm!!!! 😜
  3. How I imagine Fish's kitchen the day he gets his new toy. 😂🤣😂🤣😂
  4. I've heard the only side effect is your penis falls off. So not a big deal. 😜
  5. I got the Rona in mid January and have not fully recovered. My dad moved into a LTC 2 days before it was shut down and had no visitors for many months and he went down hill fast because of it. July 11th my pup died. November 13th my dad died 2021 can't be any worse. 😪
  6. Then there's the 10's of thousands like me that have long haul COVID due to the virus. Currently they are saying 10%+ will have long lasting effects from the virus. So there's 50K that haven't recovered from the virus but are being counted as recovered because we were lucky enough to survive. It is also now known that the virus can cross the blood/brain barrier and enter your brain. I have known this since March when I figured a lot of my symptoms were caused by my brain not working properly. They don't know if the brain damage caused by the virus will be permanent. Pretty sure this thing will cut my life shorter than it would have been had I not had it.
  7. When it warms back up a few degrees. 🥶🥶🥶 Luckily it's going to be downright tropical for the Christmas break. 😁
  8. I used my dad's one when I built this back in the 90's. Along with a ton of other tools of course. Made from rough cut lumber I got off my buddy that was a logger.
  9. When I was down South a saw came up for sale on my local FB sale group. Since I was out of town I didn't bother contacting the seller. Was looking through the ads and it was still up so I contacted the seller and bought it. Had my friend pick it up for me since I am in isolation until the 20th of December. Paid the dude via EMT. All went great and I now have a saw I've wanted for quite a few years. We had one back East in our work shops of a few houses and I missed having one as they are very useful for cabinet making. OH, and the price? $100!!!! Great deal. ;D
  10. Me too. Still have several. Run them every summer fer the lakers EH!!!
  11. For Erie I had custom made 12' Lamiglas glass sticks that maxed at 8# test. Actually got to fight the wally's with them. Don't need anything heavy at all.
  12. I don't even think I can get to the next town from here to charge up. Would need to carry a generator and gas cans. Kind of defeats the purpose.
  13. Follow me for more recipes like this one. 😎
  14. I built a pair of Sage 1 spey blanks up for a buddy in Alaska for their river trout (they get over 10#'s). Used the 5 wt blanks and they were perfect. I have a 7 wt Sage 1 build for big Western water that's a powerhouse. Here's the 5 wt in action.
  15. It goes like a raped ape for 2 1/2 minutes when the batteries die. 🙄
  16. Try and source an older vented RV heater. The radiant kind with no fan. Quiet and use nothing for power. I have an old pop-up camper I'm making into a fish hut. Not sure if there's a heater in it but I have an older vented heater with a chimney I can use as well. Either one would work well in your situation. Scope out some auto salvage yards and see if you can source one.
  17. Tests weren't available at the time. All of my Dr's are 100% sure that it's what I had. Got it in Yellowkife. Most likely in one of the stores. Our town is packed with Asian tourists from September to April for aurora watching. Most likely one or more of the Chinese group tours brought it in.
  18. Yes, I wouldn't wish this on anyone except a few people living in Ottawa. 😉 Even though most people get over it quickly with no real issues I wouldn't take the chance that you could end up really sick. I don't think it's worth it.
  19. look at the mini 2. Heard tons of good things about it already.
  20. It's been a tough year OI. Between the COVID thing and losing my dad my pup also died this summer. This crappy year can end anytime now. I've had about as much as I can handle.
  21. That is what I'm dealing with. I'm in month #10 of this hell. 😠
  22. One more thing. With the numbers heading up again and lockdown's happening there are all those family members that we can't see now. Your loved one in the hospital dying of cancer, old age or some other ailment are going to die alone. You won't be able to be there comforting them. Your mother, father or grand parents in the seniors home, long term care facility. Nope, can't see them either. My dad moved into a long term care facility on March 12th. It was locked down on the 14th. He didn't see anyone outside of hospital staff until July. I could tell that it was really taking a toll on the old fella. Last Friday he passed away in University Hospital in London Ontario. Now I'm here in Ontario hoping I have some immunity to this COVID crap while I deal with pops estate and funeral. Luckily he was able to have visitors even though he was on a floor with COVID patients or he would have died alone.
