HMMMMMMMMM................so that's what liquid water looks like.
I had forgotten as I haven't seen any other than the stuff that comes out of the tap since October.
You ideally want it at the bottom of the ice as the ice can mess up the return echo.
This is especially true up here where the ice can get over 5 feet thick!!!!
Might be tough to get in Ontario.
See if you can find whole herring.
Here are a couple of places you can contact.

I have one of each.
A 3 man (better for 2) pop up and a Frabill Trekker II.
I use the pop up early in the season when I have to walk on and switch to the flip over when the ice gets safe for snowmobile travel. My buddy nad I hauled out my flip over by hand and it was a hell of a lot of work. If travelling on foot I would not suggest a flip over, even a light one like the Trekker II. IMHO
It's actually pretty decent for the $$$
My last bbq was similar but stainless and 2 1/2 times the price and this one cooks more evenly but the paint on the lid is starting to get burned looking already.
to do a little barbequing at -40!!!
Seems propane doesn't vaporize too well when the temps are a little nippy.
Had to fire up the 1500 watt electric heater to warm the olde propane bottle.
One pounders are easier to warm up than the 20 pounders.
My friends and I had a crappy dinner at a place in Port Credit once.
The service was super slow and the waiter a moron.
What we did was pay for the food and left the waiter 1/2 of a five dollar bill as a tip.
Hopefully he got the hint.
Watch Ice Road Truckers Deadliest Roads!!!
I now know I never, ever, ever, ever, ever want to go anywhere near India!!!!
They drive like freakin' idiots over there!!!!
My buddies dad used to race drag boats and his boat ran about 135mph in the 1/4 mile.
He had a blow over once at top speed and when his chute pulled him free of the boat his leg tore out the gunnel and gave him 150 stiches down his leg.
