  1. I bought a new camper last February. Saved a ton of $$$$ over buying it come spring.
  2. One more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1waaDyVt5lY&safety_mode=true&persist_safety_mode=1
  3. I fondly remember the 80's as I did sound and lighting for some of the biggest clubs in souther Ontario back then. TO had some kick clubs back in the day. If you were into the dance club scene back then these may bring a smile to your face. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lDCYjb8RHk&safety_mode=true&persist_safety_mode=1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hXPu32FuE4&safety_mode=true&persist_safety_mode=1
  4. First hand knowledge of a tribal elder who had fished there in the past.

  6. Up here that is called the average temp!!! I tend to do most of my ice fishing at -25 and warmer, although I have been out there when it's 10 or 15 degrees colder. Just not as much fun. At -25 the hut door stays open with the heater on 1/2. When it gets colder than that the door closes and the heater gets put on full. I just don't like the lack of air movement to get the CO out of the hut when it's sealed up, even with the door cracked, windows cracked and vent open I still get hedaches due to the CO in the hut. May have something to do with the 14,000 btu heater though. My first couple of years up here I would just turn my back to the wind and fish in -25 to -30 but the hut and heater deal is much more comfy. Oh yeah, current temp is -31 with little to no wind.
  7. We're just getting to the best part of winter here. March and April are fabulous in YK. Long, sunny and warm days make for some awesome ice fishing times.
  8. My boat is 17'10" with a 90hp Merc and no swing tongue. I keep it in one of those 10'X20' fabric garages. The motor pushes out the rear wall by about a foot and the tongue sticks out the front by 2 feet. So my setup is about 23'. Yours should be 12 to 18 inches longer all together so probably 24 to 24 1/2 feet total. Not sure how much you cut it down with the tongue folded, maybe 2 feet. I would say you will be in the 22 to 22 1/2' range folded.
  9. I have one of the old green cardinals, but my go to spinning reel for trout is a Quantum PTI20 loaded with 15# Power Pro.
  10. Haven't needed more than 5 1/2' so far.
  11. Nice!!!! OHHHH, it wasn't my fault because I was riding too fast & too close to my buddies so I couldn't see through all the snow. Typical!!! It's not my fault, it's the hut owners fault because the reflectors and lights that by law he didn't have to have were too small. What a knob!!! The hut owner should be reimbursed for loss by the sledders insurance. IMHO The sledder needs to take responsibility for his actions.
  12. About 5 seconds!!! I've had it in my photobucket account for over a year.
  13. I had one come to my trout pond in Grand Valley once. It left in a body bag.
  14. 3HP, need it to drive the 10 1/4" bit.
  15. The one on my Strikemaster does. Mine starts quite well in the chilly weather we get up here North of 60* too.
  16. A lot of places require ice huts have reflectors. I didn't know they weren't mandatory in Ontario. Maybe they should be. They require you to register them, how hard would it be to require a 6"X6" relfective square on each corner? It would save the careless sledder from damaging a hut in the dark. And it would save the ice fisherman from getting run over by the careless sledder. I believe I read about an incident last winter where a sled went right through a hut with 2 fishermen inside. They were badly injured in the accident. Reflectors just make sense to me. IMHO
  17. Are you using a 7 pin to 4 pin adapter? Here's a diagram of the 7 pin wiring. Trouble shooting is as easy as testing the pins with a test light. 7 pin to 4 pin adapter.
  18. Actually it will be de-virginized in the little lake I can see from my front deck. Gotta make sure all is well before heading across Yellowknife Bay and slogging it through the bush. It will be the second place it gets wet.
  19. About 3 feet, give or take a few inches.
