  1. seems like an interesting little unit but I can't see anywhere that it is or isn't waas enabled
  2. the deal was reported to have fallen through about 4 times with the toronto Basspro shop, and it happened without a shooting range/gun club, so it does seem to be a negotiating tool
  3. not much of a box on the new one but I guess if you don't use it you will not miss it
  4. yes you can fish from a boat no ..you can only use one rod from a boat, 2 if you can find a little hunk of ice to stand on....one spring I was fishing the mouth of the trent in gamebridge everyone was fishing from shore, I was 4 feet out from shore on a little piece of ice and when the CO showed up he said he was going to charge me with using to many rods, I took the camera out snapped pictures of my feet on the ice, the shore and the CO standing on the shore and told him I am icefishing and totally within the law and would be happy to make him look like a jackass in court...he told me something like I may not be breaking the law but I was breaking the sprite of the law ..whatever that meant..he walked away the only place that could be in question..IMHO is lake scugog where in one of their blrubs it states "open for ice fishing", so that could mean not open for open water fishing..but who knows
  5. wow BOQ at it's best
  6. now if we could get turkeys with 7 legs, I would be a happy camper
  7. 76 doing very well it's taking him a while to convince himself that he's ok...he's been afraid to do things even though his doctors say he can do pretty much what he wants to do and with the heart meds he is on, he has less chance of have a heart attack. then a 40 year old person
  8. glad all is well my dad had the same story just over a month ago
  9. rob is in that narrow down spot at the mouth of the bay with he chain of island, he would be one of the first ones out,,but it ain't looking good
  10. it's ok to use a boat... but for some reason scogug seems to state "open season for ice fishing' in one of their blurbs so that could be iffy
  11. I don't know John that's why I put the post up I have never spent a weekend in a hut that's parked on shore
  12. I wish
  13. for those going to lake nip the fist couple of weeks in Jan, read this north bay news paper report doesn't look good maybe take boats
  14. extra weight most definetly make a difference in traction in pickup trucks, some more then others..if you own a dodge dakota it can make a big difference mine is so bad I need the extra weight just to pull my boat up many ramps in the summer, when I don't have stuff in the back a couple of people jumping into it does the trick for the gravel ramp in Keswick and I don't see how putting things in the bed can void warranty why buy a truck if you can put stuff in the bed?????
  15. I don't have any superstitions/rituals well I do have one..I have to put a plug in the back of the boat everytime I don't bad things happen and bad things have happened more times then I care to say

  20. what would you like to see in the animated gif and what do you want it to do lift a fish out of the water or just jiggle a rod or maybe net a fish? all drawn females doing these things
  21. and here I thought it was the drugs kicking in
  22. won't the flip up type fit on the trailer with the atv I have to stand mine up but it fits I may make a rack on the ramtailgate and stand it up on the outside of the ramp on the trailer so I have even more room
  23. funny, before they changed the regs. we fished the bog's first ice for walleye and never saw a ski hooked but went looking for ice crappie on cooks bay and found small mouth in all the textbook spots for winter crappie....didn't find the crappie though so we quit looking for crappie cause we didn't want to hurt the bass ......weird how that works...... I think the simcoe crappie for to florida for the winter
  24. that's great I will have to look for it
  25. Corey that would be a great system and good advise but what are they going to use the computer for..seems to be the first question I would ask...... if it's write emails and chat on this web site and nothing more then I don't see the reason to buy a tractor trailer when a compact pickup truck will do the job.......... I know people with old windows 98 systems who tell me they are getting a new 1500 buck machine cause it's slow on the internet I have them bring it to my house and hook it up to high speed and they save their money and get rogers or whatever is available more then often doubling their ram give them everything they need too I still love the system you suggested, but b2kptbo what are your needs.... what do you use it for gaming ,rendering, multitasking? internet, photos/
