yeah, 80 bucks for one region is a lot... but 300 for all of ontario isn't that bad...... maybe a few guys could go in together and get them

here are the maps topo canada then gpsquebec think I will be buying some maps from gpsquebec they sent me the screen shot from the area I want to buy,,nice of them

boys and their toys you can never have too much tackle........

ohhhhh... no every thing can and will be off on the maps....... and it doesn't matter who's maps you buy they all take the map info from the same place

yeah it sure could be a problem..but that's why they all have a disclaimer to not rely on them for navigation

Satellites are part of the problem. many GPSs will tell you how inaccurate at any given time, so at times they will be off by 150ft.. 10 years ago 150 was the average reading but the maps are off at times... I have a lake up north and I drive my boat around a point , the map shows that I am 100ft on shore all the time. some times the Gps was showing it was correct within 3ft, I checked the map on the computer and the map was wrong, after checking I found that maps are off, they do updated the at times, but there is little you can do about it the garmin topo maps can be changed and reloaded onto the GPS and I have been doing that

I don't think they would accept an OOS fish in the tourney

first do you want it to be installed in your boat or do you want a portable GPS..it will make a big difference I love my garmin map76cs along with canada topo maps and the bluewater hydrographic maps I couldn't ask for anything more it does everything I want in a portable GPS...but I do wish the screen was bigger....a large display is easier to see and the older you get the more you need that..some day I will need it too...lol but on a portable gps you get a small screen and I use it for my bass boat, my folding boat, the rental boats on my northern trips and my ATV for back lake trips and ice fishing so portable was my main need

lair lair, pants on fire unless I'm wrong..( and I was wrong once back in 72) that picture has been around for some time and was caught over seas where they grown them big and it cost tons of money to fish on many of the lakes

yeah, they are very easy to do it just a few screws to remove and carefully turn head and screw it back on on most makes you can see the screws and remove them on the outside, but take the top off the head so you can see the wires are ok while turning it

well you can clean the area around the plug while the plug is still screwed in but I wouldn't clean when the plug is out the threads should be fine and you risk getting dirt and whatnot in the cylinder and that's a bad thing
