1. yeah...I was talking about the signal to the sats from expressvu company so the signal can be sent down to you not from your home ird I am sure most people know it's one way communication so if it's uplinked from toronto and is pouring rain there, you can lose signal even thou it's not raining at your house in Newmarket and I am sure you meant software updates not hardware and they are sent by sat signal not phoneline you can virgin the tsop hook it up to the dish and get full update without ever hooking up a phone line same with the card, the phone line reads the PPV
2. simple xpla it's the knob on your stove to change the different temps ok it's behind the knob
3. a sailboat is there and under sail so it must be windy, the wind will control your boat more then a paddle or in many cases a small electric motor, so as in drifting you are using the wind as your main source of power, the paddle or electric is to steer just like the sail boat uses a rudder, so they have no more right of way then you and because in most cases they have more momentum they have better control of their vessel then you do and are more able to change course also with the electric you are using it to stay in one location so to the sail boat you show appear to be anchored, so the should change course well before it becomes a problem
4. "I believe it is maritime law that sailboats ALWAYS have the right of way!" not true, if you are anchored or have a means of movement that is slower/ less controlled then them, paddle or electric trolling motor or drifting...then they do not have the right of way, you do
5. can you say bowfin.......................
6. happy birthday have a great one
7. you have to remember that the signal is sent up to the sat. too so if it's raining hard where the uplink dish is, the signal will be weak coming back down
8. davis, I knew what you meant and have had people do it to me, if you are fishing docks or stumps and the guy at the front keeps the back way out where you are casting at dead water, it makes for a long day....I was just pulling your leg misfish, oh yeah you caught bowfin from the back of the boat too...lol
9. when you are running the trolling motor there is no back of the boat..if the guy in the back really wanted to catch fish he would buy a boat.......LOL just kidding
10. I voted other..for all the reasons that others have stated Fish'n Canada or should I say "FNC" can go to hell..I will never watch that crap again I am sure when they get there, they will be forced to relive the last cull over and over again
11. I use to like fish'n Canada show best of all then they did the in your face bad boy FNC show ..which was dumb as hell..old men pretending to be cool slamming fish back in the water and swearing and throwing things at the guy driving the motorhome........ I changed the channel and have never watched fish'n canada ever again and never will
12. good for him I am sure it will be a great show
13. well the only way it's my last cast ever is ..I would have to be dieing that day so I am trolling with 100 dollar bills on Javis St. do they still hang out down there
14. you have entered the twilight zone ............. so how many people read this thread and part way through stopped and tested their corn flakes for drugs..cause you just couldn't follow the thread....so you figure something was spiked with LSD
15. around 3 lbs nice fish
16. you sure don't need one it is nice to see that your motor isn't running over the red line and to know you have the right prop so when you are first setting up a new motor it does help but once you know the top rpms are under the motors max rpm, you really never need to look again
17. I guess I should fill up if they drop in the Bradford area too
18. yeah they can tell if you stretch a fish that's why I keep the fish the same size and make everything else in the photo smaller
19. Friday I went to a kawartha lake to fish walleye with a friend that has been catching muskie every time we fish we want walleye, we use little walleye baits and line and rods and reels but still they keep hitting our baits I caught some real small muskie maybe 22 or 24 inches, it's good to see the small ones, some day they will be big and we did alright with the walleye but my friend seems to get lots and big muskie everytime we fish the kawarthas here are some pictures and if you have nothing to do for 3 minutes you can watch the video of the last couple of minutes bringing in the fish the line was wrapped around the tail but it was hooked in the mouth just as I tried to net it the line pulled on the tail the fish jumped the hooks caught in the net and twisted the mess, so it wasn't about to go in the net the next time the fish tried to get free it came loose form the hooks but pushed more into the net I grabbed the fish and got it in the boat the camera was hanging from my neck so it's not very good....but it's there if you want to see it <param name="movie" value=" <embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">
