very nice 34 ft of water was way out there, I was way to chicken to go out that far and tired of walking

I wouldn't want to travel the whole bay, but you bet is riding time

another trip to cooks bay this time on the gilford side, I decided to walk, leave the atv at home till I see the conditions first hand.. I had to park about a km away from the lake, so I needed to take a break by the time I reached the lake..LOL today there was a layer of snow on the ice, so cleats were not needed you could buy minnows right on the lake, I decided to try with out them I walked out quite a ways,cut some holes put down the fishfinder and the camera and the two rods lots of people fishing no one catching so I went deeper, drilled a bunch more holes with the hand auger found there were lots of weeds on bottom I caught lots of fish but only kept about 10 that were the right size most people were doing a lot of moving...that tells me not many were catching fish went about 35 minutes without see any fish on the camera and without a bite, so I moved to one more spot, but found no perch called it a day and prepared for the long walk in....I guess it's good exercise my legs were sore my arms are sore, no pain no gain... as I walked along the side of the road I noticed lots of cars and trucks had tickets, wrong side of the road..ticket parked to close to an intersection..ticket and a few I couldn't tell what they did wrong..a ticket I was glad to see my truck did not have a yellow piece of paper on it's windshield a good day playing on the ice..now where can I go next.... with the ATV <a href="http://s25.photobucket.com/albums/c52/Mrbeee1954/?action=view&current=DSCF3210.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c52/Mrbeee1954/DSCF3210.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value=" name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object> the underwater video is from last year same place if you haven't seen it check it out <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value=" name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

I would say he got tired of hosting his instructions and pictures, so every other website around could view them

good, I was afraid he would be out of minnows too a real problem around here

maybe I will need to walk out from gilford tomorrow is there anywhere to buy maggots near there..or minnows eyeballs I can get after I catch a few...LOL if I don't release them

glad you got out too rob mistyriver1, I couldn't see that far, it was foggy and snowy

well I decided to walk out on cooks bay keswick side today I went to Harry's tackle at the river, the place was closed...so people if you minnows or tackle, get it before you come to Keswick as I walked to the edge of the ice I could see there was no snow on the ice and it looked like some cars/trucks had been on the ice.. it was tough walking, not only was it ice but it was uneven making walking difficult. I walk a fair way out,there were a few guys fishing near by I drilled a hole, with a manual auger...lots of ice, about 10" but I only in 7' of water...it started snowing I packed up and started walking out to deeper water, but the light snow coming down made it all but impossible to walk so I gave up and walked to shore, man it was slipperly, I fell once but I saw two other guys walking and they must have fell 10 times so I felt good about only falling once.... I came up on a spot were someone had fished, the pig left a timmies cup on the ice, it's ok bud I took it off the ice for you a couple of ATVs went by just as I got off a car drove on to the ice.... well I did learn I need cleats and my next trip will be with the atv

great gifts and a grandma too life is good.. and the lake is freezing up too...LOL

I think this is the place for this type of thread we, as a group of fisherpersons have a lot of power and when a business does something like that, we can take action in whatever way we see fit what the heck would a PM do and most businesses are not members, so that's out let us know how it turns out, I can always buy my bad boys oops jigs else where

yeah, you need to uninstall nortons here is a high speed internet provider that I anm thinking of changing to at 18 bucks a month , it sure seems like a good deal cheap high speed click here

yeah unless you are anchored or on ice they have no advantage . but on the ice they give the fastest updated info, so you can see your jig and the fish swim up to it to bite it

I tested AVG against nortons and found it just as good without tying up all the computers memory free AVG click here

I am looking to here is what they said in my thread now a free place to park and I'm good to go

thanks gb if I lose the ATV through the ice, I will be pumping something for some time to come

yeah, I know..but I have a need to get out..LOL Brian, the last time I used my spud bar I thought the ice was thicker and one light smack and it went through the ice and never stopped..lost my grip and away it went....guess I will need to buy another one
