they were as good as any other motors if it's a private deal take it for a test drive and do a compression test if it's from a dealer they should give some type of guarantee

if you are going to buy one the 9ah is a better battery for the price

well lakers and whitefish are closed so I would say it's not ok...LOL lots of ice in most locations except shorelines so you need to find a good spot to get out on the ice, once out there you should be fine.. if there is current or a river mouth near by, the consider it unsafe

I have never had luck in the river this time of year but if the very south end of the bay near the mouth of the river opens up before the end of march pike fishing can be great.
