I stayed at today lake it was fine small lake there is no way in hell that you will be pulling in 8 to 10lb walleye waiting for the flight I was looking through all their photo albums, I could not find one 10lb walleye in the photos if it regularly produces 8 to 10lb, as they advertise , but otherwise it was a good trip

maybe used for 100 bucks but a new 100 buck sonar I would tie a string on it and use it as a weight to lower it to the bottom and measure the string to see how deep the water is. you don't need a 2000 buck sonar, but I find the 100 dollar units crap a good used gray scale unit would do you fine

well I was going to say a step-up converter but that seems to be what that product is I can't see where it says how many amps it puts out at 24 volts, which is real important the simplest way would be one of those 3 way switches, but half way you would need to switch to the second battery so both batteries are being charged the same amount

if the person buying it drinks if the person trying to get up into it drinks if the person wondering how to get out of it to pee drinks if the person sleeping in it drinks I can see him spending many nights laying on the ground looking up wondering how to get up there or wondering how he got down there taking a pee a 2 in the morning would be a pain too not for me

there was a fair bit of ice there yesterday a guy was bombing around in a truck... if it wasn't windy there would be no issue some of the shoreline was open but once on the ice there's lots of ice but mother nature thought Beaverton needed the ice more then Shanty Bay

I heard some people were in the water and swam to the ice near shore that didn't break off and someone was hanging on to the ice flow while in the water....

hope they are OK sounds like it could be 20 to 40 people drifting over to beaverton from the 4th line of oro

lake simcoe got their crappie in the 80s seems someone dumped a bunch of crappie in cooks bay and they grew like weeds they hit their peek and died way off but still lots there there were always sunfish, only kids from shore fished for them, the perch were always there

I stayed off the ice today because I didn't want to have a trip across the lake from the west side and end up over by Beaverton by a rogue iceberg but I figured it would happen thanks for the update

unless a white fish goes for your bait at the same time then that big red thing on your screen runs right by your bait and grabs the small black line (whitfeish) moving up to your bait

yeah I didn't use a heater all week till we had the above zero day, the wet and wind got me cold so I fired it up to warm up
