It's been so long since I last posted, that I'm struggling with words to express myself I'm going to try my best to do a great job Thought I'd share my 2011 season with you all starting with last Fall Had to renew my firearm license and wasn't going to have my photo taken professionally, so decided to take my own.... please don't laugh Cropped it to specification and sent it in Got my card in the mail and was happy about it Then I started to work on the Fish-o-Thon gift Late December, tackle a new lake 3 - 4 times for some trout and did not have much luck.... was only able to hook into this New Years day... My family, only dad missing been 3 years already Then came my daughter's bowling tournaments and they were successful in winning the provincial and get to the National Daughter's personal best!!! Me playing.... Raising money for the National Back to fishing... later in the season, switched lake.... and got into this My daughter being a model at school... love you sweetie Later on... Got into a whitie Then came the injury OUCH!!! Burnt hand and fingers with hot wax Had an icy spring trout opener... managed one Sugar bush is always a treat.... random pics The garden and deck.... random pics Then came a great looking laker Mom moved to a retirement home and she was quite happy in that pic!!! Random shots inside Me.... Brake time Over looking to the North Daughter getting her prize.... end of bowling season!!! Summer came around and got into a nice whitie Daughter and team in Saskatchewan for the National Got Hector out of the way and relocated to a safer environment Then it was my birthday in July Then my wife's birthday in July Family weekend - random pics

You don't need them spring loaded setup to go out ice fishing... I've made quite a few tipups in my hard water fishing career and know that the last ones I made were the very best with reels Sorry 12footspringbok but ice fishing isn't boring at all to any hard water angler that want to have a great time on the ice even when it's -20C No Paul... sitting on the hard stuff catching these is what I call having fun Sorry Lew but ice fishing to me brings joy and happiness when I'm up against the element and truly enjoy catching all kinds of species of fish that want to come out and play No different than fishing for ski's in late fall when the temps dip under

Funny you started this thread Paul cause this morning I replaced the filter in the furnace and gave it a rip to boost the temps back to 20C in the house I have a wooden fireplace in the living room but rarely use it due to my wife and daughter being asthmatic Only in emergency situations will I use it to heat the house Nice looking fireplace you have btw
