The ctc covers are ok for dust covers if your boat is garaged but wont last long in the sun, I have had two that were never towed with rip apart after two years due to sun rot.

Before you touch it find a service manual online. I can tell you merc 2.5 litre blocks require you to split the block halves and possibly pull the pistons/rods for that repair.

I hope you are using the shop manual for it to put it together, its not a just put the parts back together thing. It wont last if its not done right.

Several people have asked for proof that tournaments benefit a fishery. My question to them is who says it should or needs to in order to validate the activity? There are countless activities people take part it with no other benefit beyond the enjoyment they derive from participating.

Dont know about who makes quality now but I always thought Alumacraft made a great boat and lund as well although they over priced themselves to me. I also agree on the Princecraft comments about quality, nice looking boat and not bad quality but no comparison to the other two brands I mentioned yet still very pricey.
