  1. FYI - I've got the same size boat with a 50 4 stroke Merc. It goes up to about 30mph. Cruises nice at 20mph. It is a great motor!
  2. I think he'll come on at the end so he's on the ice when they win.
  3. I have a feeling that there may be some upset people at the end. Quote: "Hee hee hee"
  4. No! I'll fall asleep by then
  5. You are gonna hear that every make is great and terrible. I always suggest that you spend a little time researching then go and sit in the boats and pick the one you like most, that's what I did
  6. An east wind will keep you stuck at the campsite. But if it gets over 25km/h in any direction it can get nasty. If you decide to go shoot me a PM and I may be down there. My boat can handle the waved a little better
  7. If the wind is the wrong direction in Long Point you won't get out much in the rentals
  8. Work Great! Only tried in lakes though.
  9. Headed out on Long Point Bay today with my buddy James to find some pike. Winds were not the greatest in the morning and caused massive boat control issues. We chucked everything we had at them and didn't even get a sniff. After a few hours we decided to switch it up and get some perch. I figured I would try my 3" emerald shiner gulp alive. After 45 minutes of absolutely no bites we decided we had to head in for some live minnows to see if that would work. Well we got back to the spot dropped a couple minnows and BANG!!! 12" perch We caught about 25 perch in no time so I figured I better try the gulp again... nothing. Switched back and perch were hitting again. Ended up catching about 75 perch, 4 WGSF, a couple sunfish, a huge sheephead and an OOS smallie in about 2 hours after we got the minnows. Unfortunately no pike for the day. It was a great relaxing day on the water and the rain even stayed away. Dan
  10. Some nice fish, congrats on the first slime in the boat! That was a great boat launch bozo story. I'm thinking about pulling up a lawn chair quite a bit this summer at the launch
  11. Thanks for the link Mike! Just registered to clean up a site in Cambridge
  12. Switch your cables around. You will be good to go!
  13. I have a couple cheap $30 combos as back up. They are fine for what you are using them for. I've caught a ton of bass and pike on them. Never have an issue.
