great fishing, but be careful eating out of that harbour. Even if the fish aren't residing full time in the bay....if htey come in there to feed, you are what you eat if you know what i mean.
-
You can net them? I assume they come up to spawn in the rivers? How many are you allowed to net? What do they taste like?
-
As with most things it takes a couple of knuckleheads to ruin things for everyone else......but if i were a landowner and fishermen on my property always coincided with litter (bottles, line, etc) left all over the place I wouldn't want us on my land either.

Weeds are likely starting to die by now (turning brown), in which case they suck a lot of oxygen and muskies stay away. Find..... - big flat rocks near the surface (where muskies sun themselves) - rock points etc. adjacent to deep water - open water with schools of baitfish Troll believers, and or throw big jerkbaits and glidebaits.

Cool amongst adults. Hunters who see it will say "way to go". Anti's will say "you're evil". Most of us will say "What the heck?". And kids who see it will ball their eyes out.

If its to keep the meat cool and fresh, no big deal. If its a trophy.....kind of bad form.

huh?

Interesting. Had no idea. According to Canadian Geographic there have been 27 (documented) attacks in the last 100 yrs (in canada), and 7 deaths. I have heard of lots of sightings in ontario, though not sure if ever confirmed by MNR (or whoever would confirm it)

When was the last cougar attack on a person? Does it even happen??
-
wanna poop yourself? Have any frozen vegetables in your freezer? (esp. the "organic" ones?). Take a look at where they're from. Many (esp. greens) are from china.
-
There is no lake in the world with 6 lb average smallmouth. Certainly not in Canada.
-
that's crazy. unbelievable. wow.
-
have not been on the bay in a very long time -- curious.....how is the water clarity? Any algae issues?
-
whoops -- missed the part about the 10-12 inch.....disregard what i said about the bass :-)
-
If spring fed then likely cool enough. They wouldn't spawn though, so they're only there for one life span. Another potential issue is bass....hard to have both in the same pond, so if the bass population was established when the trout were stocked, most could have been eaten. For the bigger bass.....try larger lures. Try topwaters in the morning or evening and you'll have a lot of fun.

I actually don't know if a lot of people get sick from emissions (do they?) -

A massive increase from the worst year on historical record (last year). There was a substantial gain, but the ice coverage for 08 is still one of the lowest ever on record as well. It'd be like saying a 900 lb man isn't fat because he weighed 950 lbs the previous year and saw a MASSIVE weight loss.l -

you're arguing semantics. everyone on this board (including you i hope) understood what he meant. -

You're arguing against yourself. Weren't you the one in an earlier post claiming that its ridiculous to think pollution is bad for us when life spans are increasing? He's pointing out why lifespans are increasing (or one of the reasons) and you're giving a few others. -

Big difference btwn 400 yrs and 30 yrs.......no? Look -- you can go back 100's of thousands of years and see temperature strikes both ways....all natural. All tend to coincide with CO2 (high for warm periods, low for cool periods) and dust (visa versa) from volcanos, meteor crashes, or whatever. Natural, yes. Good for us, no? Anyway - i what do you think is causing the warming? What natural phenomena is causing it....please do tell. I can`t wait. -
I am soooo blown away. What a trip. Wow.
