Upper Lake X is really good for bass and pike. But Lower Lake Y is really good for everything else.

Not enough ice for me I am a "car or small pickup" I guess if i follow Danbo's chart. I myself 2" or 2' i have my ice picks on my neck, if you go through what good are they gonna do for you if they are in your tackle bag?? Nice whitefish. Corey

Here's what I prefer over minnows: Small Rapala Jigging Raps get the skinny ones not the fat ones, Bright coloured jigs heads (no larger than 1/4oz), Little spoons, I've heard Rattlin' Rapalas are good as well, If you are going to use minnows get spreaders. Now all you need are the fish.

I use 7' medium heavy like many it seems. Caught a nice 36''er on one this year. I know that this is a bit heavy for a pike but if you think there might be a chance you will be fishing somewhere with both muskie and pike, I have a Pete Maina 7' medium heavy, can definitely hold pike and can hold a good size muskie too. Combo with a nice reel is 200$. My 3 cents Mistyjr1

With Remembrance Day tomorrow I thought that i would do i tribute to my Papa who was a World War II veteran. My Papa spent 2 years overseas. This was a newspaper article from his home town paper. Here are a few pictures of my Papa while he was over seas. He drove a transport carrier Here is a picture of him in Belgium. These are two picture of planes that had been shot down, I'm not sure if they are the same plane or not. Here is my Papa on a motor cycle. I don't know where or when this was taken but I like this picture. These are his badges, the one on the left are his original ones, and the ones on the right are the ones that were remade. My Papa's last time fishing was with my Dad at Lovesick lake in 2004. I think that he is up there somewhere looking down on me right now. Mistyjr1

Heres why: 2 personal best, one being bass the other being pike. Caught another muskie with Whopper slimed his boat. Fished with my first 4 board members, Whopper, Lew, Raf, DipLip. Caught my first bass, and pike on just my hands, line, jig and worm. Caught my first blue walleye. Had an outstanding pike and bass year. Caught a pike with one of my own bucktails. Netted jr2's second pike. Netted a muskie for Dad. Saw my first Tennessee bass. Caught a big perch of the dock. MOST OF ALL I HAD FUN!!!!
