  1. Yeah for about 20 minutes only. So you do know what my boat looks like.
  2. Are you serious about that? This is the second time you said that and I can't tell whether or not you are joking.
  3. Were you out today brian? I got out from 3pm until 6 and had non stop action. Even got a couple nice bass as well. All my fish came on jigging spoon.
  4. nice pics Rob. Here is one from West Arm
  5. Genetics. You can by all kinds of liquids and pills nowadays to help with that (so I hear ) Congrats on a nice looking fish
  6. There are rent a cops down there. 52 boats!?!?! That is just being greedy.
  7. I wish. Looks like I didn't get a pass for the weekend.
  8. lol. your lures are a cutlery above the rest. pretty good results though.
  9. Just got back from wing night. The winning team's wings tasted "better than usual" they said. Mine didn't taste quite so good. Guess it was that bitter taste in my mouth that lingers from losing that tournament to those clowns.
  10. pm sent you can get minnows at Simcoe bait and tackle but.... read PM
  11. We were crushing them all afternoon as well. I didn't even bother with the dift sock and just put anchor down. We still dragged the anchor but it did slow us down. Fish were as Greg said 26-35' with most around the 26- 27' mark. The screen was often just full of fish from 15' to the bottom. Used a strata spoon but pretty much anything would work. Nice fish by the way.
  12. nice fish. You will probably get flamed more for the vertical hold on the musky than the air bladder walleye. I doubt the fish are all dead. You can fizz deep fish with fairly good results.
  13. nice report. Great fish. I fish this one dock and I bring a shovel with me to get rid of the elephant sized goose poo. It is bigger than most dogs' poo. We need to have a cull.
  14. I lost one ice fishing. By the time I got to the hole it was at least 4 ft down. Damn 8" hole. I could have got it too.
  15. St. Lawrence especially Lake St. Francis is sick! Nice fish. I plan on getting some like that in the next few weeks.
  16. Oh man. Everything Jaydub said was true. Quite embarassing considering the amount of ribbing I have been giving the other guys. Quantum PT tour edition baitcaster with a team daiwa rod. I had no choice. Gone is my sony camera and the cell is kaput as well. Did some quick math in my head before diving in and I knew I had a spare cell phone at home. Lesson learned. I was jigging a strata spoon and i will no longer do it wit my baitcaster. I had the reel in the palm of my left hand and the smooth surface of the reel combined with the rain and numbish hands was a recipe for disaster. Spinning reels and rods for jigging from now on. And the icing on the cake is that my team managed to lose the tourney somehow. I think we caught about 125 fish to their 25 fish but still lost out by a half pound of smallmouth weight. We owe them wings!!! (Going to go on half price night). Oh yeah and for those who are interested; the perch are in at the beach/tiffen launch and at the marina in Barrie. Crazy, crazy numbers but very few over 10". Fun day right up until the end. Oh yeah, I got home and was locked out of my house as well.
