I love wfn but I have a real hard time watching any BC salmon show where they are downrigging with those mooching reels. I can't stand the clicking noise of those reels and they reel like mad forever and the line barely comes in. I change the channel everytime. I could mute it but I can't be bothered. I would rather watch some British dude catching chub on 'boileys??' than hear those mooching reels. Love the saltwater shows especially going for the big stuff. Now I don't mind hearing those big level wind reels. Weird. Likes: Any bass show All the saltwater shows Musky shows

I will trade you for a picture of a used atv. Wait, I would be getting a raw deal there. I will trade you a drawing of a used atv for all that quality equipment.

I drop shot micro tubes
-
That is all. I guess for the people who use this line it is a good deal.

is 100 yards of braided fishing line enough?
Cudz replied to redpearl99's topic in General Discussion
I usually put like 50-60 yards of braid and the rest mono backing -

I just picked up a 7' med/hvy garcia veritas with micro guides. Got it for $79 at ctc but then got back $8 cdn tire money for the price match. Very light rod. Matched it with a Quantum PT energy baitcaster. Can't wait to use it.

My guess would be that they are good conditions. They just held a big tourney west of Minets today. I think they drilled over 500 holes.

In the bay the perch temd to be shallower. 20-35 ft but I have caught perch out in shanty bay at 50 in 100 foot of water.

Hey Rob, tthere were only 2 packs left at the south side store on bryne drive. I have not checked the others. Worth a look. There are like 4 or 5 other dollaramas in town.

Bought a couple laser lure 5" swimbait with laser jighead. Prety gimmicky but it is a good jig head with a big hook and the 5" body looks pretty nice too. I bet I can catch a laker or two through the ice with these. I bought them for $2. Not bad. Might be a decent pike bait in the spring too. Dollarama actually had a decent spinning reel for $3. It was rear drag and when I say decent I mean compared to the piece of garbage we had to use for our dollarama tourney a few years ago. One even had an aluminum spool.

Like night and day! It really modernizes your room. Very nice

This is my best attempt at jumping. Pretty insignificant compared with the raptor jump. Biggest difference is that I drove away from my jump.
-
I was actually really impressed at how flat the raptor was in the air. That was a really good jump! Just a terrible landing.

Here is my buddy's raptor (the white one) and his friend (black one). That is a combine 822hp stuck! To be fair he says it is really good in the sand and this sand was really soft and he did not air down at all. And by the way, He has lived in Dubai for about 12 years and yes he does know how to drive in sand. I lived there for almost 8 years and you figure it out pretty quickly.

lol. the truth is that most cars automatically put on four ways in an accident. If the airbag deploys a little voice comes on telling you to call 911.

Crazy stuff you see on your daily commute NF

That is a sad story but all too common on that stretch. The weird part is that these accidents happen in the same spot in the summer too so although snow and ice play a big part there is still the summer accidents that remain a puzzle The one before the transport truck was a lady who smashed into the dunlop bridge. Unfortunately it was the mother of a boy in my math class. Sad. -

Hey Bill, Something has always baffled me on the 400. I believe there are more accidents between 89 and 88 than any other locations. Now I can't explain why. I look at the area and there is nothing really special or odd about it. A few hills but that is all. There are so many accidents there it is crazy. It is the highway 400 Bermuda triangle. Maybe it is at this location that people start falling asleep? My buddy hit a guard rail there and ripped his running board off his truck when he dozed off. What is your opinion? What are peoples opinions about this stretch? -
Wow! How wet? All the way in? Did you have friends to help you out? That is nuts.

That is nuts. I commuted from Barrie to Penetang for 7 years and have seen my share of living and dead animals. Once I saw a large dead black bear between Orr lake and Waverley. I saw him alive about a week earlier. THe pickup had just hit him but I didn't get out of my car to see if he was alive justin case he was just stunned. Pretty sure he was dead though. -
Hard and cold I bet. Although hard is a relative term. Sorry Rob, I know you would have replied the same way if I wrote that . lol

Cool. Just don't want any members from this board (or from anywhere else) go for a swim.
